I didn't even think you could buy season tickets after the first game. I went to the season ticket page and clicked on the buy season tickets link and this is the error I get. No such error when I try to buy single game tickets, so I don't think the service is down. In fact, if you go in through the buy tickets link through the landing page of the website, season tickets aren't even an option. Only single game or flex packs. http://www.bluebombers.com/tickets/ I agree with Bigblue204, for a team who only had just over 24,000 people show up for the last game, this seems like poor communication / training to their front line staff and / or ticket vendors.

Found an interesting article from back in 2012 that looked at the impact of firing a coach mid-season in all 4 of the major sports. A post that is essentially gloating is going to do nothing to change any "division" on the forum. Congratulations you were right Iso, the Bombers are a steaming pile of crap. Is that what this post is trying dig up from "certain posters"? The "division" is how people view the team and how people choose to be a fan and support the team. Why do some people not post any longer? Well because the Bombers suck and there is very little hope right now. For those people, they'd rather say nothing then come here and read about and post bashing the team. Not everyone wants to come in here and talk about how much the team sucks in every thread. When there is a new regime, they will (hopefully) support it and hope that this is the group to turn around the franchise. That is how they enjoy the team. Also, if everyone saw everything the same way, this place would get pretty boring. The point of a discussion board is for people of different points of view to discuss and debate. If you want to gloat for being right, then gloat, but all that does is make people not like you and makes the so called division worse. Don't wrap it up in this lets be friends and make amends BS. Especially when you stretch the truth to fit your agenda. I don't remember anyone saying Reilly was crappy and we didn't need him. It was more of Reilly isn't completely proven yet and there are other options out there, especially when we didn't get him, and weren't going to get him, so people move on. I also think you mis-interpret hope and optimism for calling O'Shea "can't miss". He was a rookie coach, no one thought he was can't miss. But there was hope he would be good coach. So people went with that because they are fans and love the Bombers and want to believe ( or at least wanted to) they will do well.

Really not a fan of all these separate streaming services. Netflix, Shomi, Crave TV, I'm not going to pay for all of them. Already have Netflix and a fan of a lot of their original content. so I'm not going to get Shomi and / or Crave. Also, Netflix is unaffiliated with a network, so they are more likely to get content from a wider range of sources.

I wonder what the rules would be in this situation. If he had played in the OHL before, there would be no choice if he didn't make the Jets, he would have to go to the OHL and not the AHL. But since he has never agreed to play or suited up in Juniors, I wonder if he could be sent to the Moose.

The comment was meant to be a little tongue-in-cheek after watching the Grey Cup Champion Eskimos beat us the other night with a number of former Bombers on their roster. But at the same time, and only Willy really know this, when I watch Willy play it looks to me like he is suffering from the football equivalent of PTSD. He has been so shell shocked in his time here, it looks like he gets frozen in the pocket waiting for it to collapse and it hurts his decision making. Not saying it is a guarantee, but a new team, a new situation without the starter pressure, watching from the side lines, may be what he needs to get his confidence back.

Willy is going to be 30 years old this year. IF the Bombers bring in Burris, then the Willy experiment in Winnipeg will be over. Willy would be released in the off season and probably catch on as a backup with another team, where there is a good chance he would reclaim his former glory like many released Bomber players have.

Are there teams out there that would pass on Armia? Sure, but you only need one team that would have room for him and would want to take a flyer on a former 1st round draft pick, on a cheap contract and who is still young enough and growing into his game. Sending down Armia over Dano would be poor roster management. Unless Armia really craps the bed in camp, the difference between the two isn't great enough to risk losing an asset for nothing.

I find it unlikely they will be sending Armia down anyway. He is no longer waiver exempt. He would very likely get picked up on waivers by somebody.

Game Day! Yes, Edmonton has beat us in each of our last 6 games with a combined score of 183 - 72, with an average margin of victory of 18.5 points. But I'm tired of watching this team lose at IGF. Time for a Bombers win!
