Definitely dig the Als signature jersey .. but people are right .. just underscores / highlights just how god awful ours are.

He was also very disciplined in his rush as well .. generally had good contain .. played the spot very well from a fundamentals standpoint.

Dressler is the better player AINEC, I don't know what AINEC means but absolutely Dressler is better thn Matthews. And It's Not Even Close

And the two guys (Dressler and Willy) might have some familiarity with one another .. coming out of Saskatchewan .. that can't hurt from a chemistry standpoint.

The biggest thing for me is consistency. Every league misses / blows calls .. but the officiating in the CFL is so wildly inconsistent .. the level of unpredictability is what separates it from every other league.

Was hoping Toronto might do us a favour and help bring Edmonton back to us a bit .. That said .. A route to the post season through the East doesn't sound too bad

I think the more tangible affect on the CFL might be the expansion of NFL practice rosters .. granted .. the impact is not huge but it further shrinks the pool of potential cuts ..

I'll say, for the record, I don't mind digital camo .. I just feel that Reebok completely missed the boat in terms of branding .. yes the "W" is displayed prominently .. but the colours associated with this club .. are blue and gold .. make an effort to encorporate it into the uniform .. pants .. helmet .. something .. and I've always felt, that if you're going to go digital camo .. just go for it .. something like this would have been nice (just an example of feel - disregard colours): Or just the jersey: It would look far better than what we have now.

I saw that one on the feed too. That's actually better then what I was thinking about. And I like the gold trim around the W. Better than the current design (the "gold" comes off as green - intentional?) .. only thing I'd remove are the numbers from the front .. just too busy and out of place.

Can't understand the angst surrounding a marketing gimmick. If people don't like the jersey .. they won't buy it .. if people do .. they will. There are going to be people in both camps and there are going to be people who buy it simply because it's Bomber related. /shrug

Yeah, but it's different when a guy goes in for a skill position. Just putting Stoudermire in the game won't surprise the defence, as he wouldn't line up at tight end or something like that. The plays themselves is the info that would be barred from public knowledge After last week, it's not going to be a surprise to anyone that the Bombers are going to look to try and get this guy in space and see if he can make a play. Montreal will be very aware of him when he's on the field .. it's going to be a matter of tendencies which will dictate if those plays designed to get Stoudermire the ball will be successful.

I guess you have never heard of a man named Moore? Moore was already established in the league .. and while Walters did bring him to Winnipeg .. I think Floyd is talking about how we haven't found a rookie receiver who has made an impact. For all the guys we brought in, none have made much noise.

Of course there are a few dents in the armor .. but the approach I take is that nothing is ever as bad as it seems .. nothing is ever as good .. it's called perspective .. a lot of people lose it after a tough game.

Not going to read more into this loss than what is there .. We lost to a team .. coming off a bye .. a team who had 11 days to prepare for another who played a game 4 days earlier .. then went on the road .. after a single day of practice .. and were competitive throughout the game until they finally just ran out of gas. Not too concerned about the Bombers.

Benchmark by which every subsequent PI review will be measured against. It was a terrible call.

A couple of random thoughts of my own: The hitch screen to Gill was pretty much automatic for the Argos on first down. Watching two offensive linemen go untouched and eat up our MLB (Wild) underscore why we have issues defending the run. Stoudermire sees the field and reads his blocks well. Definitely showed he was the freshest Bomber player on the field. For as much as I like Washington's energy, he takes way too many dumb penalties. No place for that kind of selfishness on a winning team. Our offense was entirely too conservative last night. Never ceases to amaze me how good we look stretching the field and running a three minute offense .. it's a shame we only go at that tempo when we are down late. Can't wait to get Moore back into the lineup.

They've still got some good runningbacks. I think with two or three more days of prep and rest time, we walk over the Argos. I don't see how by the fourth quarter we're going to have much gas left in the tank, and that's when Ray is going to destroy us with his precision passing. This short week is total bullshit. Completely agree. At this point in time, the Bomber roster is simply healthier. Our offense has more play makers at it's disposal. Our defense has been playing really good ball. This week *SHOULD* be a cakewalk (though with Ray behind center, anything is possible). Unfortunately, we get saddled with the only Tuesday game on the entire schedule and are coming off a game where we didn't close and a few guys are dinged up .. if anything is going to test the resiliency of this team .. it's going to be this.

Looks like Coombs not only misses this week .. but he's been placed on the 6 game IR as well .. We absolutely *HAVE* to have our way with the Argo offense ..
