Phil Hunt? I didn't realize he was still kicking around... good for him... He's only 29 years old. He was cut. He'd be an interesting pick up. He spent last year out of football before signing on with the Lions this off season. I wonder if he's ready for a CFL comeback. Coming off an ACL injury, bouncing from the Eagles, the Colts and now the Lions .. he may not be the same player he was when he left .. Shawn Lemon also just got released by the 49ers. He's someone the organization may want to touch base with. His acl injury was two years ago when he was with the eagles. I doubt that's an issue at this point. But no, there's no guarantee he's anything close to what he was when he left. I know when the injury was .. just noting it along with how he's bounced around .. which may be an indicator of the miles catching up to him .. can't honestly say I've watched him with his time with the Colts or the Lions ..

I'd be pissed too getting pulled like that .. he made a mistake while under a great deal of pressure .. happens to the best quarterbacks from time to time .. but he was one of the few Rider players playing with any sense of urgency. What a gong show.

Not disagreeing with this at all .. wasn't the best draft class all around .. but given that we didn't hit on a single player (outside Fitzgerald who played a handful of snaps for us) .. it's particularly painful.

And the hits keep coming ... @murraylp Chris Getzlaf just helped off field with left leg injury. Not a good sign.

Mulumba would have dropped to late 2nd or 3rd round without Mack... signed to Green Bay was too much risk Nothing wrong with picking up Bilukidi where we did I generally don't have issue with teams taking fliers on guys who have NFL aspirations .. if you've got 2-4 round pick to burn .. absolutely do it. That said, when you are / were a team as bereft of NI talent as the Bombers.. it's important to land guys early in the draft who can push those marginal starters and potentially contribute right away. The Bombers 2013 draft class was a complete bust and it's somewhat symptomatic of Mack's approach .. he was a guy enamored with "athletes" .. guys with good measurables .. and, by and large, those guys didn't pan out.

This is why I am waiting for the official release of Windows 10 .. also known as SP1.
