  1. You have tunnel vision my friend
  2. So what? The receiver tried to make a play on an absolutely trash throw.
  3. I hate Nichols. He is absolutely terrible. People like @White Out continually show how little they get football by going on and on about the D. How much longer can they continue to get blamed for letting up after the O goes 2 and out for the 4th straight time. No D would be good enough to continually stop an O that gets the ball back every 45 seconds.
  4. Things are down right now but some folks are acting like their life is over.
  5. Y’all are some miserable sky is falling folks
  6. Anyone thinking the Riders have historically taken this game more seriously than the Bombers really has no idea. Historically, members of both teams have taken this game lightly. All you need to do is go to Regina and go out the night before the game. Still remember Corey Holmes ripping off that huge kick return to open the game 12 hours after I watched him barely able to walk out of the bar on his own. Still remember doing shots with Doug Brown at the official Bomber LDC Weekend party. It's not an exclusive thing to either team.
  7. That’s 100% one of those catches that looks way easier than it is to actually make. He had two guys beat and now all of a sudden, the throw is short and he’s essentially boxed out by two cover guys and has turned into a defender and people are saying it’s more on Adams. Kinda gets me confused to say the least. Adams did his job on that play, he got wide f’n open for a free TD if the ball is on the mark. Nichols didn’t deliver.
  8. ... which pass from Nichols to Darvin are you calling a perfect throw, the one he shorted into double coverage that Darvin had beat clean?
  9. I’m not going to freak out and join the “fire everyone” bandwagon but O’Shea and Walters need to have a long hard talk about whether Nichols is the future of this club. Their final determination will decide for me one way or another whether I have faith in them.
  10. Honestly Floyd, you might be right. We might look back on this game and say this is the one that finished MOS. I wouldn’t be surprised.
  11. The D is keeping us in this while Nichols continues to piss away possession after possession. No the D isn’t flawless but my god are they saving us right now.
  12. If that's your take on our 4 Canadian receivers this year, I have to wonder if you've even watched a single moment of Bomber football. Not a single one of them plays the same role, they're all surprisingly good at creating their own room on the field, especially for their experience level and I can remember a BUNCH of game breaking plays from the four of them.
  13. I don't doubt it was awful and I'm sure it didn't have any benefit to what's happening out on the field, but neither did Nichols going out there when our backup QB was working the ball down the field and Nichols had been playing terrible the whole game. At that point, it was kind of a "if the head coach doesn't care about this game, why should I?" moment for me. I generally like O'Shea and think a lot more of him than some folks do, and I'm certainly a Matt Nichols fan as well, but I'm not going to blindly worship them if they're making bad decisions on the sidelines or playing like dog ****. Winnipeg fans are the best in Canada if you ask me, but that doesn't mean we should be expected to put up with that kind of stuff from the team we cheer for. Matt Nichols has been great for us, but he hasn't been anything beyond average this year and he shouldn't be the unquestioned leader of our offence at this point, if you ask me. He's the starter but he needs to pick up his level of play or fans (not his coaches, because it's pretty clear they're going to throw the blinders on and ride or die with him this year) are going to start calling for Streveler. I won't start pushing the narrative that Streveler has statistically been better than Nichols this year, even though there's an argument to be made for it, but the one thing I did notice on Friday was that as soon as Streveler went in, our offence had a level of confidence that they hadn't had for the entire game until that point. If that continues to happen, Nichols is going to start getting a lot more boos than what he heard on Friday and if he doesn't like it? Too bad. Play better.
  14. I think a lot of Matt Nichols and think he’s a great quarterback who is having a pretty bad stretch right now. But as far as the booing goes, any time a player on this team tells me or any other fan in the stands that they shouldn’t boo or they should be ashamed of booing, they should quite honestly STFU and realize most of those fans have been around far longer than they have and will be around long after they’re gone. Bomber fans as a collective have witnessed some of the shittiest football imaginable and stuck with their team through all of it, so forgive us if our frustration comes out once in a while because the team is playing like trash. Any player who tells any fan that they don’t have the right to voice an opinion is wrong. That includes Nichols, Neufeld, even Andrew Harris who is one of the easiest athletes in Manitoba to respect. Yeah, we get it. You give a lot to the fans and the community. The fans and the community have given a lot to them too and we have the right to be disappointed. Period.
  15. Meh, I didn’t like it when VA did it and I don’t like it now.
  16. One pays to watch and the other gets paid to play. Do your job.
  17. I’m a huge Matt Nichols guy but you can’t help but notice he’s been bad this year. Don’t whine about the fans noticing and being unhappy with it. Keep your head down, work at it and strive to be better. The scariest part this year, to be honest, is the offence seems to lack confidence when he’s in there lately. Streveler goes in today and suddenly it looked like we had some confidence back for a moment. Nichols jogs back on? Gone. That is not good.
  18. Nichols whining is pathetic
  19. Imagine being unable to talk about a problem because you have another one.
  20. I won’t be so wordy with it ... he’s been terrible
