No kidding. I was reading through this thread thinking the exact same thing - Ripper has been incredibly tolerable for almost the entire time he's been here, then his team gets two wins and you'd think it's an entirely different poster. It's going to be a good game. That much is probably about as much as I want to guarantee, but that being said ... god, Rider fans are so easy to dislike.

Not surprised the Riders won, but I'm surprised they put up 50+ Edmonton did play absolutely awful though. I mean, that one pick Jovon made, I could have made it.

Pretty sure it's Migs, so I'm going to just do some confirming and maybe we'll be rid of this detriment to our Friday.

It's a terrible point to make. Buzz off.

Being stupid isn't against the rules, technically. But he's pushing it.

"Who have the Bombers beaten from the West on the road" Says the imbecile trying to make the point that the Bombers are comparable to the Riders. Well ... we've beaten the Riders. And who have the Riders beaten? Seriously. The Riders have three wins on the road in the last 2 1/2 seasons. What a dolt.

I knew not having Poop Johnson in the lineup wouldn't be a good look for us. Okpalaugo was more or less invisible last night. To me, if Jeffcoat is healthy next week, we're much better rotating Westerman/Jeffcoat/Corney and Thomas/Poop/Nevis than we are rotating four defensive ends and Thomas/Nevis/Ekakitie. Okpalaugo isn't a "bust" but he's certainly not a need for us right now. Too bad, because he's amazing depth. But I don't know that I'd be dressing him ...

We need to petition the CFL Commish to host LDC
Mike replied to Wanna-B-Fanboy's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I'd rather the LDC stay as is, lots of teachers in my group that travels who wouldn't be able to likely go if it wasn't that long weekend right before school starts. -
Randle, Denmark, Darvin, Medlock we missed the Poopster tonight - Okpalaugo seemed about as invisible as he did before he got hurt

Calgary and BC aren't playing eachother this week

Flying High into Montréal: Bombers vs. Als
Mike replied to BigBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Since we played them 3 weeks ago, they've lost Keith Shologan, Chris Ackie, Philip Blake and J-C Beaulieu for Canadian starters / rotational pieces. They've literally got probably one Canadian starter that would start in other lineups in the league (Westerman) -

Montreal's 7 Canadian starters: Luc Brodeur-Jordain, Kristian Matte, George Johnson, Samuel Giguere, Jabar Westerman, Jesse Joseph and Dondre Wright That is ugly ugly ugly -

To me, and I don't mean to simplify this ... Ekakitie at TC looked like an out of shape, sloppy mess. When I've seen him in practice lately, he looks WAY better. -

Can't see how it will ever be Flanders anymore. I just don't really see the need for TO, we rotate Corney Westerman Jeffcoat just fine. -
Well I'm going to have to do that.

The only game I noticed it not working at was last game. I've noticed that it temporarily glitches some other times too, but for the most part, it seems pretty bang on. Last game was a mess, though.

What he's saying is that it's not the Bombers, the stats are from the league directly - same engine that the website updates from.

That isn't how I remember it. -
Flying High into Montréal: Bombers vs. Als
Mike replied to BigBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I was looking at Montreal's roster (this week's DC is not up) and man they are beat up. They only had 6 Canadians listed on their depth chart as starters last week and as far as I can tell, the backup choices they had were pretty grim. -

Underrated in all this is Corney. He's out there with Westerman lots. -

Me too - but it's gotta be either Roc or Okpalaugo. Can't be a Canadian, so Ekakitie will dress, which tells me it's probably TO, since I can't see them dressing 8 DL and 6 DB. -

I don't really think it's any different - they're not increasing their flexibility at all by doing this. They rotate Hurl and Thomas anyways. I think Okpalaugo is a scratch though (or Carmichael but that'd be thin at DB) with Foketi. -
I hope Jones never earns another dollar off combat sports again in his life. Absolute scum.
