It's only one a year from now on.

That special football is awesome, but man are those referee uniforms hideous.

Biggest Rivalry in the CFL: Regina Winnipeg
Mike replied to BigBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
They did the same thing last year. It's passive and to me, it's an easy way to get beat up and down the field all day. If you don't even rush four, it allows us to do so many things. Send Harris out into the intermediates as a receiver ... work the 10-15 yard game ... force their inexperienced defensive backs to beat us. The problem with that is that you're putting way too much on the plate of a group with no real proven success. Montreal kind of played into their hands last week a little bit, I thought. I don't know what the approach was, but you saw what happens when you go over the top of a secondary that isn't in sync with their communication. It's not going to happen every time, but teams like the Riders are way more prone to the 30+ yard play because of the higher potential for breakdowns like that. Not to mention, I'd expect they're going to have their hands full with the bigger bodied guys like Washington and Adams. Those guys are physical receivers, guys who will make the Riders get physical in return ... can they do it without penalties? -
They were mostly unhappy about it because Lavar's 15 year old son dropped the N word on live TV twice.

I'm just curious, how on Earth do you think for a minute that we don't finish ahead of Calgary? How do you see that happening when they give up an average of 0 points a game in 2017? Calgary gives up 31 points a game and scores 31 points a game and you know they are consistent year after year. How would they even finish 2 games behind the Bombers if they're going to just tie every single game?

Biggest Rivalry in the CFL: Regina Winnipeg
Mike replied to BigBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Is there a question in there somewhere? I'm often left wondering what the intended response you're aiming for is. bombers win. easily. I'm going and they'd never let me down. -
Like what is the fascination with Edmonton players ... they're priced thousands higher than any other at their position. No single player should be priced at over a third of the overall budget, especially when they're priced 18% higher than any other player. That's ridiculous. And the receiver pricing ... good grief.
-
Honestly, I've already lost interest in this game. Whoever is pricing these players is horrible at it.
-
Oh. Apparently it was Chris Davis that I saw, then.
-
Toliver getting hurt cost me a decent amount of money on freerolls. Went from being in a position to earn anywhere from $30-100 on the season ticket freeroll to winning a big ol $5 Now I actually have to deposit money.
-
I think Davis did play. Kanneh is a fair point, though.
-
He literally did the exact same thing on two other catches. I'm shocked it didn't get challenged even once.
-
if I'm Toronto, I'm for sure telling the referees ahead of time that if they're not going to call Duke on offensive PI, I'll be challenging it. Let the league know. He looks like an unbelievable receiver, but to be able to do what he did on three separate catches ... it's kind of ridiculous it didn't get called even once. And how about the play-by-play guy (I forget who) saying "a little push off is allowed, and besides, he's doing a great job of hiding it" if it was allowed why would he need to hide it.

You're MARRIED?!
-
Toronto looks for real this year. But at the same time ... Hamilton looked like absolute garbage. Their OL was atrocious, Collaros looked indecisive and their secondary ... I've seen less roasting in the southern United States on July 4th.

Section 122 - sitting with a group of 14 Bomber fans, including myself and Blue Bomber message board legend Raydawg. letting them go at face value, PM me if you want them. We'll sell 2 or 4.
-
Zylstra not getting into the end zone cost me 10 fantasy points. Edmonton sure can find receivers. Let's hope that L'Damian Washington fella they introduced to the CFL turns out to be good too!
-
Oh, I see everyone else already explained to you that you're wrong before I did. Missed that. You're wrong though.
-
You don't understand what you're talking about here. The turnover, had it been ruled a turnover, would've been BEFORE the goal line. There was no touchdown, there was an immediate recovery in the end zone, which means it would've been Alouettes ball on the 25 yard line. Obviously the play is dead the second the plane of the goal line is broken. The part you're missing is that the fumble in question occurred before that.

WOW. What a way to start off draft day. Panarin to CBJ, Niklas H to ARZ Saad back to CHI ... What is Bowman doing? This looks horrible for the Hawks.

Not recently.

Gotta involve Hjarmalsson, one would think.
