  1. I mean ... yeah ... it kind of was on purpose.
  2. Why Spooner suddenly ahead of Couture, in your opinion?
  3. To clarify, I was just looking for an excuse to point out how old you all are. But yeah, I legitimately think I was like 12 when I first registered on OB. And boy did you guys ever hate me. For good reason.
  4. I think I would've been about 5 years away from being an idea back then. That picture has to be at least 30 years old and I am not there yet. You oldies.
  5. I'm the weird looking one.
  6. Is 15th really that late though? Maybe I'm just biased because I liked Spooner throughout the entire lead-up to the draft. I had him figured for a first round selection, so I suppose in a sense, I'm treating my expectations for him like that of a first rounder.
  7. I don't really think that's a big step for a first year OL. Couture did it last year.
  8. That good to what? Be on the 46? Or did I miss a different post lol
  9. I have to agree. I think this is the year Neufeld is gone. Couture on the 42, Spooner on the 46.
  10. Who doesn't like Colin?
  11. Maty Mauk asked for less drugs upfront, so he got the invite to camp instead.
  12. I'm currently sporting a black eye, a missing toenail and my bruises have bruises - all from ball hockey. I'll keep my shins intact.
  13. Neufeld is very good when he's healthy. He just happens to be a bandaid at a position where solidifying your lineup on a consistent game to game basis is incredibly important.
  14. I'll be in attendance Sunday - look for the guy wearing street hockey shinpads, a purple jersey and a safari hat. ... and some kind of pants, of course.
  15. Maybe it's tongue in sister's cheek?
  16. I don't have any clue why anyone thinks a Kevin Glenn/Vince Young combination is going to be a plus .500 team. I can't even deny it - the rest of their roster looks pretty good. I like a lot of their pieces. Their receivers are ridiculous, they've got a stud DE in Willie Jefferson, I like the looks of their OL for the most part and I think their secondary will surprise people. But they don't have a ****ing quarterback and that's really not something you can discount at all. On top of that, they don't have a stud RB to take any pressure off their mediocre QBs either. They're going to be dead in the water. I see them winning 6 games at most.
  17. Here's how I look at the Geoff Gray situation: him not being here doesn't really matter, because we don't need him right now. If he comes, great. But let's not kid ourselves, he wouldn't likely be starting for us this year. MAYBE next year. Ideally, what I think our best course of action is would be to see the line transition from: Bryant-Bond-Goossen-Chungh-Hardrick to maybe something like (once ready) Bryant-Bond-Goossen-Chungh-Gray and hopefully in time Bond-Spooner-Goossen-Chungh-Gray But truthfully, I think the reality of the situation is that we're going to eventually lose a couple of these guys. Hopefully we can parlay a guy like Couture or Spooner into either a replacement for a guy currently on our roster or into an asset that can help us elsewhere. We're officially at the point where our pipeline is likely a little full with Goossen, Chungh, Spooner, Couture and Gray. They're not all going to play for us. My hopes for our OL this year is that they think enough of Couture that we can say see ya later to Neufeld.
  18. As someone playing in PlayOn, it's pretty easy to find parking close to the stadium. Whatever the parking lot is that is across Bison Drive from IGF always has parking on PlayOn weekend. It's hard to ask goalies to lug their gear much further.
  19. Went back and looked, apparently Raper was on Saskatchewan's PR last year as a DB.
  20. Not that it matters, but for the sake of clarity: it was Darren Cameron who said this, so not exactly the local press.
  21. No, you're confused. That's why they haven't signed their draft picks. They aren't holding a rookie camp because Carm Carteri did a heel turn and retired after taking bonus money because they're trying to reset the market for signing first year players without Justin Dunk doing garbage reporting on it. I think.
  22. There is literally no world where that's how this works. Gray is our draft pick. He is not under contract to us. We all know this and your effort to try and come off as the bringer of facts just comes across as being an outright ****. That may fly at the Extra Point, because there are certain measures in place to make sure that you can't be called out on nonsense like this. It doesn't fly here.
  23. With Burton (for the time being?) out of the running and leading in the race for the Jernigan Award, I am jumping on the TJ Thorpe bandwagon. Santos-Knox, Carmichael and Jeffcoat on D.
  24. I know this is your schtick and everything, but we don't need that here. We know the deal with Gray, guys like bigg jay don't need to be corrected on semantics.
