  1. Way too many Americans on that active roster. Something seems way off about it, there's like 8 American defensive backs and a bunch of linebackers and receivers. But only 46 guys? Anyways ... I think Jeffcoat made the active roster with his play. He'll be a DI in my opinion. Brian Walker did enough to get a practice roster spot, as did Santos-Knox. Not sure where Liggins and Williams end up as receivers, but I hope they stick around. It's so tough to say though, our roster management was very poor yesterday in my opinion on the offensive side of the ball. Defensively, they were rotating guys all over the place ... Scott, Butcher, Temple, Alexander, Walker ... a whole bunch of guys got time with the ones. Offensively, we trotted out the same alignments every time minus the blocking fullback that kept rotating. The only time guys like Liggins and Williams got to show their stuff was in the fourth quarter and even then, it was the Ryan Lankford show. Not sure why Lankford was the only guy who fielded any punts either. Let these guys show their stuff.
  2. I didn't notice this at all. First game, so I don't care (yet ) but it was rearranged and just as bad as it always has been.
  3. ^^ impressed with all three of those guys as well AND John Rush.
  4. Not sure why people are worried about our defense considering they didn't do anything on the DL other than bullrush. It was as vanilla as it gets, and I noticed a lot of the breakdowns were when Butcher and/or Scott were in.
  5. Lankford does not impress me
  6. Not even gonna care about the score in this one. The Rifles safety got torched at the end. Big deal. O looks good. Frustrated with how they handled the substitutions. But whatever.
  7. I'd give Neufeld+2nd rounder in 2018 for Behar for sure.
  8. I don't see the purpose in keeping Sheppard, personally.
  9. 2013 was the year of Mike Sims-Walker Good grief.
  10. As much as maybe you don't need to see guys like Dressler, you need to give Nichols time with them.
  11. Except in the sport of fight, McGregor CAN beat Mayweather. The odds of him doing so are very low, but all it takes is one shot. And as mentioned ... he's a world-class striker.
  12. OL/QB is what killed us that year, but the injuries didn't help I guess. But really ... when you're trotting out Buck Pierce under center being blocked by January, Greaves, pre-career revival Sorenson, Morley and Boatman ... wow. I agree ... we were in trouble before the season even started.
  13. One nice thing about 3 quarterbacks ... they'll all get some good time. I'd give Nichols the half + 1 series, Davis the third + 1 series, Fever the rest. That's plenty. I'd also hope they give Liggins, Williams, Thorpe and those guys a chance to run with the first team O to see how they fit.
  14. My fondest memory of the Boltus game is when he came in and I said "could he really do any worse?" and then he proceeded to somehow throw the ball backwards.
  15. I'm bringing one to Mosaic for the opener. If we win, I'll leave it on Paul McCallum's lawn.
  16. It's either McGregor with a lucky knockout in the first 4 rounds or Mayweather by decision. No chance Mayweather is going to knock him out, he's shaking off two years outside the ring, they're fighting at a weight Mayweather has knocked one guy out at ever and McGregor has a rock solid chin. McGregor needs to find the balance between coming in guns blazing looking for the home run shot and making sure he doesn't gas in case he blows it. The reach for McGregor plus the fight weight tilt it in his favor but there's still the fact that he's not a boxer and Mayweather is the best boxer ever.
  17. Poop and Hurl up the gut. ... nice
  18. I remember that game. Never have I felt so disgusted by a Bomber coach and team in my entire life. I worked harder getting myself up out of bed at 6 AM on the Saturday to drive out to watch them than they did over that entire 60 minutes of football. The worst part about that game is it wasn't even like we were making mistakes left, right and center. We just didn't care. I think we had two turnovers all game and we got smoked 52-0.
  19. The main thing that I disliked about Tim Burke was his expressions on the sideline. Blame Mike Kelly for being an arrogant, loudmouth windbag all you want, at least it came from him caring deeply about wanting to win. Burke constantly had an infuriating, blank look on his face that said "oh well, who cares" and it infected the whole team.
  20. Good question.
  21. Had he not had a coach who threw him under the bus, that might have helped also. For all the talk of Mike Kelly and Joe Mack, etc, etc ... I think it is quite honestly Tim Burke who set this franchise back the most in his time here. He was an absolute disaster.
  22. I don't know what to make of that depth chart. I get everyone is going to get reps and there's no ratio, but I'm curious about the defensive ratio. I'm also curious as to why Kyle Knox is still around, I think. He just seems to be *there*, never seems to make any strides in improving.
  23. Pascal Lochard sportin' the old Jonny Oosterhuis.
  24. Something we agree on.
