I'd do it without the #6 and #7
-
I still think Bladek at #1 but maybe you take Vandevoort #1 and let Bladek go #2 to Saskatchewan.
-
I'm not feeling Woods first overall. If I picked today, I'd be taking Bladek first overall.
-
Not too worried about Herdman looking bad. He's not going to dominate testing. He's a football player, not a track star. I did expect more, but that's fine. He'll bounce back.
-
Didn't even notice it. Not sure about him. Wouldn't be my first pick at #1 but we'll see how he does at his pro day or whatever. Would be a surprise in my books if he went #1.
-
Two of which are not CIS linemen. Quinn Smith is not much of an impact player. Junior Turner is probably the rare exception.

Wonder how far Boateng drops when teams find out he's barely a shade over 6 feet tall as a rush end. I wouldn't draft him anywhere in the first two rounds myself and his height measurement just goes to further my opinion.

No.

Can't say I've ever noticed the noise levels so I'm going to go ahead and say no, it's not an issue. I agree with the idea of getting Nichols or Harris (I'd get them all to do it, but I have an imaginary budget of infinity hours and dollars) doing up a clip for the jumbotron telling fans to SHHHH on offense. Most of the kinks of the stadium were cleared up last year though ... either that, or I'm way less of an entitled dbag because I don't remember being annoyed at all last year by the poor spelling of the closed captioning or by the lack of full screen replays on the jumbotron. One suggestion I would make though ... the TVs in the concourse should be playing the live feed. If you want to inundate me with people taking selfies and hashtagging them on the jumbotron, that's fine. But I'm at a football game and if there's action going on, it'd be nice to know that if I'm in the concourse taking a leak or grabbing some food, I'm not going to have to see only every second or third TV showing game action.

I'm very critical of our coaching staff. I think they're terrible. I just don't support booing the players because of it. I'll boo the players when THEY deserve it.
-
I don't think you understood what he meant when he said premeditated.

I wouldn't shake my head at the entire team. Having been there live, I'd shake my head at a guy like Nic Petan who was a -2 with a 17% success rate in the circle. I'd shake my head at a guy like Mark Stuart who was literally almost single handedly responsible for 3 goals. I'd shake my head at Connor Hellebuyck for letting in a couple of softies. But no way am I going to shake my head at a guy like Josh Morrissey who went +3 with the game winning goal in a buttload of icetime ... as a rookie. Our team isn't bad. It's very skilled. It's just being sunk by a bunch of weak links.

Sorry, but that's a load of crap. Taking a private photo of yourself does not carry any illegality with it, so to say somebody shouldn't be able to do that in private is total nonsense. All because someone may violate their privacy in an illegal fashion? Nah.
-
And what does that have to do with the players? I'm not going to boo the players. They're not, as a whole, good enough. But the roster that was out there, even in all of it's unskilled Mark Stuary glory, busted their collective ass last night to go up 4-0 and then to close it out at the end with a 6 on 4 penalty kill. Call me naïve. To an extent, I am. But I'm not going to blame guys like Adam Lowry and Josh Morrissey who are out there laying their bodies on the line for the inactivity of Chevy and his front office.

Summer Rae just had leaks come out too apparently.

Chris Jones Signs Vince Young: Brilliant or Desperate?

I like it better when the Rider trolls are actually smart. -
I wouldn't even trade 15 for Ruby. He sucks.

I'm not a big Corvey Irvin guy and I don't expect him to make the team, but one thing I figured is worth mentioning - just because a player doesn't get resigned by his previous team doesn't always mean that team didn't want him. Would your opinion of this signing change if you found out that (as an example) Irvin told Saskatchewan he had no interest in coming back to play for them?

It's the same thing Floyd always does. He looks at news clippings and statistics pages and comes up with an expert opinion about a bunch of guys he's never seen play. You'll notice how three separate posters on this page alone have asked him to share his opinion on Vandervoort as a prospect and all he will tell you is how many yards he put up last season. I won't make assumptions, but I truly doubt he's ever seen Vandervoort play and I'm assuming that he just doesn't like the guy as a prospect because he's got a funny last name or something. The Floyd Favorites always come out in draft season. I don't know about Vandervoort going at the number one spot, however I do know I like him as a prospect. He's got a lot to clean up in his game, as CIS receivers always do, but his natural abilities are some of the best I've seen from a receiver coming out of the CIS in a while. He tracks the ball very well in the air, he's already got the instincts and compete level to go up and fight for the ball in traffic. His route running needs some work, as they usually do, but he's a good instinctual receiver with solid mitts. I'd like to get him but I just don't know if it's in the cards with our draft positioning. That being said, I wouldn't hesitate (unless he bombs the combine) to pick him at #3 if we could somehow work a trade with BC if they were interested in leaping ahead of Saskatchewan. I don't think Saskatchewan and Winnipeg will have their eyes on similar guys, so I could see us moving down to #3 to stay ahead of Hamilton. Maybe something like #1 and #23 for #3, #16 and #24. Who knows.

Garbage show aside from two matches.

I mean ... the easy and logical answer is "at least the length of his first contract" Canadian receivers probably have the lowest production rates of any rookies coming into the CFL. If they're not backups, they play the least desirable spot for a receiver on the field and are asked to contribute more in ways that don't show up on the stat sheet than ways that do. I don't know how anyone can say Richards has failed. He said barely scratched the surface so far. It's just the "cool" thing to harp on the guy. -

Don't always agree with Eric from Bomber Buzz, but I think he pretty much nailed it on that mock draft. -
He's going to be in the discussion for our first overall pick if he shows well at the combine, not a late round pick.

I'm still so confused about how the Bombers are managing to bring in Paul Boudreau. He must just be looking for an "easier" pace to the season at his age. Easily capable of getting work in the NFL.
