  1. http://3downnation.com/2017/05/01/saskie-native-kahlen-branning-heading-to-mini-camp-with-detroit/ The key part for those who don't feel like clicking ... What happens to a guy that he goes from being undrafted in the 2015 (the article has the wrong year, his draft year was 2015) CFL Draft to getting mini-camp invites to the NFL this year? Branning ran a 4.53 at the regional combine and now runs a 4.47? Nice improvement too. I wonder how this kid developed, because it sounds like he's easily somebody we could see in camp.
  2. You thought wrong, dummy.
  3. I honestly thought Campbell was going to be a good one and I really wanted the Fresh Prince to star for us, but other than that, I don't really think any of this surprises me. Chisum isn't a shocker, he doesn't seem like he's got a build for pro ball to be honest. Too slim.
  4. I think he lasts. He got guaranteed money with a team who has proven they invest in their UDFAs.
  5. Gray signs a deal with Packers with guaranteed money in form of signing bonus Ankou to Texans. Auclair to Bucs.
  6. Only 45 picks to go.
  7. I'm sure it's easy for you to say that when it's not your job, your finances, the stability of the franchise you're so invested in and your family's ability to stay located where they are at stake. It's never a no brainer in the CFL Draft. The goalposts are moving every day.
  8. lol some goober on RF was whining because we have 87 players under contract and according to what the available copy of the CBA says, the maximum we're allowed is 85. So I pointed out that the Riders currently have 89. Now I'm "creating fake news" and "deflecting the spotlight"
  9. Cleyon Laing signs with the Argonauts. Great move by Popp. He's off to a good start in Toronto, to be honest.
  10. Interesting. I'd been hearing nothing but positives about Stone, Burton and Campbell.
  11. How do you think they would have gone over the cap? The whole debacle was related to the fact they were allegedly paying guys under the table.
  12. Seastrunk and Carmichael both appeal to me. I bet one gets cut this weekend.
  13. Between Judge and Colling, we'll have the opportunity to really improve our roster more than anticipated at 6. EDIT: Sorry, let me clarify ... I'm not suggesting we'll take either guy, I just mean they've entered into the upper echelon of the draft board and as a result, the draft is deeper at the top now. Judge could mean us having the chance to take a guy like Vandervoort at 6. I wouldn't say no to Judge either depending on how the NFL Draft shakes down.
  14. This is actually hilariously true. He's not even the best receiver on the rec league touch football team he plays on and we're talking about a team full of late 20s-early 30s guys with high school experience at best.
  15. That is true. But you generally have to have annoyed them previously in order for it to get that far. I went on a run where I was calling out Stronson on a regular basis and he never banned me. Kind of wondered why, to be honest.
  16. Sinopoli at 7? Hahahahaha
  17. Nice! Lowest total possible points left!
  18. I'm cheering for the Oilers, even though I hate to do it. That team is unreal fun to watch. ... plus like Dave said, I wanna see those mutton chops grow out.
  19. I could not care less.

I'm not Gbill so I'm certainly not going to throw out an accusation about steroids and I certainly don't have enough skin in the game to even care whether or not flavor of the month Jinder Mahal is on steroids. But if I had to bet on it ... it's pretty easy to take one look at the acne on his back and do the math. He's also got a strange amount of vascularity for a guy who hardly had any before. He also should get his gyno fixed. #HinderTheJinder
  21. What did Steve Moore get in his lawsuit? Just wondering, since his future earning potential obviously had to be regarded as higher than Henderson's.
  22. Every single year, same thing. There's at most, a handful of spots open between the main roster and the practice roster for a receiver. Dressler has a spot, as does Adams and between Stafford/Denmark, I'm sure ONE is guaranteed. MAYBE there's a spot for an absolute stud, otherwise it's backups and PR. But you NEED guys to throw to. 5 quarterbacks means you need fresh receivers always. Plus, you can always improve. Doesn't matter how good you think you are.
  23. Keep in mind this is only a good trade if he fits within your salary structure - which he would not here.
  24. I've always operated under the assumption that's who he is.
