  1. We generally start with poor first periods, I'm not a huge fan of how often he likes to shuffle the lines - especially when he'll shuffle up combos because the previous ones have been slumping, then he'll run an entire game with a line that clearly has no chemistry, too patient with individuals (coughBurmicough) despite his general impatience with lines that aren't producing.
  2. I haven't been a big Paul Maurice fan for a while now. That being said, I'm nowhere near as educated of a fan when it comes to hockey as I am with football, so I tend to stay out of it but I just see plenty of things about Maurice that irk me a bit.

I don't think it builds to a rematch, I think it was the best way possible to humanize Brock Lesnar so that he can actually go forward as part of the roster without the need for him to run through every single wrestler on it. This just took the aura off Brock in a big way. Goldberg was gassed by the time he finished his entrance, but man .. physically, he's in great shape. He could probably do okay as a Rumble entry, but I doubt he has much more than that in him. I'll give him credit though - as quick as the match was, he still nailed the two spears and the jackhammer. Looked pretty good. Also - RIP Shane.
  4. Okay we get it, you're not an O'Shea fan. This is when discussion reaches the point of uselessness. You've made up your mind and nothing anyone says is going to change it, so what are we even *discussing* at this point?
  5. Whaaaaaaaaaaaat Well then - I stand corrected. But that is not good for us.
  6. No they are not. EDIT: I stand corrected, my apologies good sir
  7. I'd prefer to hear you provide examples of how it already hasn't. What's the percentage of success on MOS' decisions currently? You must have it to suggest he needs a higher percentage.
  8. Quite frankly, I agree with you in that I don't understand why they'd call up de Leo just to sit in the press box, but as has already been mentioned - it's working. You can question it. But I don't understand why you refuse to acknowledge that maybe they do these things for a reason.
  9. Then why don't you stop trying to argue it every single day? Honestly, it's painful to read the Jets forum because you just badger people incessantly if they don't agree with your stance on a particular issue. Do I think Thorburn should be dressed? Not really. But man do I not want to dedicate four hundred posts to debating it.
  10. I would think the CFL norm is whatever is the smartest deployment of your assets in order to win you games. We just won 11 games with 3 international OL - what's the problem with that?
  11. I guess he probably just likes lots of money more than he likes not as much money. Go figure.
  12. But *technically* that contract isn't filed, so *technically* he's a free agent.
  13. That isn't the announcement. I had heard that it was to announce the CFL Combine is moving to Regina (which it is) but this seems more like an announcement for the league, not the city so I'm curious.
  14. They also reported Willy made like 425k a season.
  15. It's totally senseless to go to 5 American receivers.
  16. I've watched it about a million times. Trust me, I can't stop watching it.
  17. And then if Manny catches the ball, everyone is questioning Loffler for easing up and not playing to the whistle. To be honest, this might not be a popular opinion with some people but last I checked, football is a job that these guys willingly participate in. It's not slavery, they're not being forced to go out there and compete in a barbaric sport that puts them at risk against their own will. For that reason, while I prefer to not see a guy have his brains scrambled if all things are equal, I don't care to see these hits removed from the game. I hate that what would've made highlight reels 20 years ago is now picked apart. That's a beautiful hit and I'm going to cheer every single time Loffler lays a guy out like that, medical implications be damned.
  18. Unofficial list of Blue Bomber FA that was shared this morning did not include Sukh Chungh (or ANY of our OL, which is incredible) Adams, Bass, Burnett, Briggs, Davis, Glenn, Denmark, Hurl, Gurley, McDuffie, Nichols, Rempel, Kohlert, Cummings No Chungh That would be awesome if we didn't have to worry about that.
  19. Get your own lines.
  20. May as well play touch football if that hit is a penalty.
  21. I was really hoping that Loffler was going to finish Manny off Undertaker style
  22. I'm going to blame O'Shea for the awful (AWFUL) call at the end to try the 61 yard field goal, but that's just about where it's going to end. It's not going to turn into me insisting he be fired or suggesting that it's a reason for us not to extend him. Because the O'Shea who made that call is also the same O'Shea that got our team so prepared to play a road playoff game that they came out firing on all cylinders, played penalty-free football and it goes on and on. I can wholeheartedly say after a full season to look back at that Mike O'Shea is a great coach that made a terrible ****ing call - it wasn't a call I agreed with before or after the missed field goal, but you know what - he'll learn from it. Bring on 2017. First overall pick, we're on the clock. Good luck to BC going forward.
  23. Heaven forbid I suggest we cut ties with Wild around these parts. I'm a big Ian Wild guy, but his "heart and soul" doesn't make up for the fact that he whiffed second level tackles in the back half of this season like he had contract incentives for doing so. I don't know if it was injury and maybe it was, but I have no doubt that Burnett outplayed Wild down the stretch.
  24. Nichols went a long way yesterday into selling me on the idea he can be our starter in 2017 and beyond.
  25. Congrats to Andrew Harris, Travis Bond, Mo Leggett, Justin Medlock, TJ Heath and Taylor Loffler!
