Why Ryan Smith? Because at this point, I'm keeping Darvin Adams (who is a FA) over Smith and it's pretty obvious by our scouting and targeting in trades recently (Quinshad Davis, MeKale McKay) that they still want to add some size to the group we have. Plus we have a second year out of Thomas Mayo. My group of receivers, if I had my way next year, would be Adams-Dressler-Mayo/Denmark-recruit-Canadian There just isn't room for Smith, to be honest. Even though I think he's great when he's healthy.

I'm a big Boldewijn fan, I wouldn't be opposed to bringing him in at all.

Johnny Adams Trade to Ticats
Why did Saskatchewan trade Chris Williams to Hamilton or Ja'Gared Davis to Calgary? Deal from a position of need on your negotiation list to acquire an asset that helps you out. Even if McKay is great, how likely is it that he's going to get an opportunity to show that immediately when he's fighting for a spot with Tasker, Toliver, Fantuz, Chiles and Owens?

Hope he's okay. He deserves a better fate than an injury prior to his first start.

If McKay signs and becomes the next Roosevelt, is he still a dime a dozen?

Johnny Adams Trade to Ticats
I won't bother with the negatives, as every scouting report for guys that become options up here are full of negatives that would make you wonder "what the **** would this guy possibly bring to a team" but what I like off the positives is he's a converted basketball player with a solid post-up game on jump balls, and he's either i) able to get good separation, as he averaged like 20 yards a grab in college or ii) a load to bring down in the open field We need that.

Yeah. According to him, we need a starting goalie or a scorer.

Bender's insights compare reasonably well to the "belligerent drunk" demographic of fans.

I've actually heard that name before, from following Tevaun Smith with the Colts. They got released at the same time if I remember correctly. I like that they're looking to try and add some size in that group.

Johnny Adams Trade to Ticats
On a decent amount, I wouldn't be surprised but it seems pretty clear to me he's also got an in with the CFL office. Unless Walters was feeding him draft results ahead of time.

Waiting for Justin Dunk. Negotiation listers that get traded for quality players are usually either quarterbacks or big time skill position players who are almost a lock to make the CFL.

Not surprised the club wouldn't plan to have him back, truthfully. Frederick has shown to be incredibly good and we also have CJ Roberts signed until the end of next season. This gives us the opportunity to give Frederick an every week role on our roster, which he deserves and we don't have to worry about losing Chris Randle either.

So what you're telling me is that they were doing better than us because they were playing football better than we were playing football.

That's because the only fanbase that tends to whine and cry loud enough for there to be a declared "out cry" is the Riders. And they don't care about this as much because it didn't directly affect Canada's Team.

"We will have zero tolerance - in fact, just to show you how serious we are, you get sent to your room for a week and you have to pay a fine that your private owner will pay for you!" What an absolute joke.

Bombers need to add one of these pieces. BC did it with Sinkfield. Edmonton did it with Hunt. Now Calgary is doing it with Law. Let's go boys. Gear up!
