  1. I was excited about Reese and sad to see him go, but Jernigan has me even more excited. This guy was a legit play making slot receiver and he's still fairly young. Big fan of this signing for sure.

Best thing I could see happening (and by best, I mean what I'd like to see) is Bullet Club interfere at Payback, showing up looking like they're going to help AJ only to destroy him. I don't want them as a 3 man squad. Save that for Finn or go full blown faction.
  3. The predictability on second down is immediately what comes to mind.
  4. Scheme aside, shall we get into his playcalling? Horrible.
  5. I got your point. Nobody even accused Brown of bashing the team, it's just his incredibly negative outlook on everything. Is it prevalent in this specific article compared to some of the other ones he has written? No. But I just really can't stand his writing style. Hence my comments. Then again, it's no wonder you're supportive of DB97 - you're cut much from the same "everything is awful" cloth, based on what I've seen from your commentary.
  6. Regardless, what is your point. I don't think anyone is questioning what he said, I think most of the commentary has been about how the way he goes about expressing it was so very "Doug Brown-ish"
  7. It's funny, because the comment he quoted wasn't even made by a Bomber fan. Nice try, though.
  8. Bilukidi was a 4th rounder. FYI - Mulumba is a linebacker, but he primarily fills the same role down there. Pass rushing. Just different in name.
  9. The way the WADA did this is an absolute joke though.
  10. This is so very true.
  11. You've mastered it.
  12. Your take on hipsters is such a hipster take.
  13. So tired of Doug Brown giving us his ridiculously negative take on everything. Even when he likes something, he has to go out of his way to say 'but I don't like it THAT much'
  14. That would be his dad.
  15. Not a bottomless pit of money, per se and I'm sure that's not what he meant beyond the figure of speech. The difference is their ownership is basing decisions on how much money they FEEL like spending, our directors are basing decisions, quite probably, on how much they're able to spend. There's a very big difference.
  16. ... what I'm implying is there may be no decision to be made. I don't know what restraints they have or regulations they're forced to abide by,
  17. ... what I'm trying to say is that maybe they are not able to spend that money as they are not privately owned.
  18. I don't know how you're saying he's 110% wrong when you're basically saying the exact same thing, Noeller is just saying it's a difference in wallet size and you're saying it's a deliberate choice (which I don't believe is correct)
  19. I guess that really depends on what the coach has asked of you. Some coaches will simply demand their kickers don't go all out on those plays. Try and wrap up or knock the returner out of bounds, maybe trip him up if you can but you're not going to ask your kicker to full blown submarine himself at a returner in most cases.
  20. This is very untrue. A kicker not selling out to make a tackle might cost you 7 points. Losing your kicker for the rest of the game could cost you far more. Losing your kicker long term? Even worse. If Medlock didn't sell out to make a tackle, I'm not going to be upset. Kickers wear next to nothing for equipment. They're basically 50/50 to get injured if they have to sell out for a tackle.
  21. It's ironic that you make that kind of ignorant comment, considering his problem is I didn't share an opinion and the reason I didn't is because I don't know enough to have one. All I was sharing in this thread were the facts. But carry on.
  22. lol it's a joke, simmer down.
  23. I see you're in full mental gymnastics mode today. Oh well, congratulations.
  24. Here's how I know you're not even bothering to read the posts before you continue to backpedal and argue: I never shared an opinion on him.
  25. So if, in your estimation, we have very little to go off in forming an opinion, why did you choose to form such a strong one based on that limited information?
