If Walters gets Chungh's name on an extension I'll be very surprised. He's a PERFECT example of why the league needs a RFA system.

Can't believe someone would even consider begrudging a guy for wanting to play out his contract and help a team in the quest to win the ultimate prize in hockey. Isn't that the point of everything in the NHL? To win the Stanley Cup? And now because Stamkos wants to stick with the team he's got a contract with, while they have a legitimate shot to win the Cup, even though he may leave following the playoff run ... there are suggestions he's not a character guy? Wow.

Worth considering about the Bombers: there's probably at least two starters in this year's lineup that we've never heard of at this point. I'm guessing HB and one of the receivers will be brand new. Maybe even safety.
-
No doubt they're high on Medlock. They should be. If Medlock is a Bomber last year, it's not a stretch to suggest we're in the playoffs. Kicking KILLED us last year and made our situation look a million times worse than it truly was. We sucked last year, but we sucked far more because of Lirim.

Name one other one. You have a very strange knack of how you evaluate our talent compared to other talent, it's a real "grass is greener" approach. Earlier in this exact same post, you say "OL is a concern, Chungh is still young" and then later on say "five or six other teams got starting OL in his draft" Chungh was the ONLY OL in his draft to start more than 2 games. And he started 18. As a rookie. But he's still too young, whereas the other teams drafted starters that you have no concerns about - yet they have not even started yet, you're just projecting them that way. This is your strange insistence on going against the grain working against you, man. You're not giving credit where credit is due.

I'd probably do Dano for Ladd straight up.

Well at least pneumonia did you one favor.

Need to have warm bodies for camp. I don't see Hardrick doing much other than filling a camp roster spot - the only thing I will say is that he's been the victim of being a mid-season addition both places he's been. He's never been in a CFL training camp.
-
Fire the agent for MANY reasons. Hardaway is a terrible agent.

Uniform changes with Adidas may not be dramatic

I would expect that anyone who says "winning is the only thing" should not care in the least about Andrew Harris being from Winnipeg or Dressler and Smith being two players from North Dakota that are coming from our biggest rival. -
No way do I want Muamba. Unfortunately for him, his agent is going to be one of the biggest reasons he never amounts to much more than a temporary mercenary in the CFL. He's probably going to try to negotiate a one year deal at this point.

Your initial comment was that our line needed to perform better. What part of a Canadian passport makes a player perform better? The advantage is the flexibility gained elsewhere but that does SFA for the performance of our line itself, which was your whole concern in the first place. So again, I'll ask - when you're asking for a higher level of performance from our offensive line, what would pursuing Bourke have accomplished?
-
You keep saying this and as JBR said, you're living in a dream world. Other than "I've heard of him", what makes you think Bourke was worth pursuing? He's had a big drop off in play and I wouldn't trade Bryant for him straight up to be honest.
-
Does that make him perform better?
-
Tell us more about how downgrading our OL personnel will improve our OL.
-
Go back and focus on him if you have any games PVRed. Just watch him and him alone. Frequently, he blocked absolutely nobody.
-
don't really need much better than average at best at field corner. Investing big into a field corner spot that sees three targets a game is a waste. That's why Bucknor is there.
-
sounds like you're getting caught up in fantasy football a wee bit much. Having Wild, Bass and Muamba on the field together without a SAM LB out there would be an absolute disaster and we'd be routinely giving up 200 yards a game to any slotback who understood a basic route tree. Especially considering one of those "ball hawks" you speak of is playing safety right now because he's a very below average man defender who can't handle a slotback on his own.
-
That would be a horrible LB lineup. Who covers the pass? None of them?
-
They're trading him because they can't afford him. We'll be cutting guys and offering to take the salary for a minimal return if we offered up for Muamba - which I don't think we will or need to.

Assuming were done with FA, whats left on the shopping list?

Floyd always likes to pick against the grain just to be different. -
Ripper calling Campbell one of the best OTs in the league. May be true but did you even know that before you dealt for him yesterday?
-
I really believe if they had signed Laurent, they would have dealt Martin's rights.
-
Everyone wonders about how much money WE are spending ... Montreal has probably spent more money than anyone in the past 6 months. Muamba, Martin, Stafford, Carter ... that's probably close to 750k right there.

Sherritt staying in Edmonton.
