  1. I guess Sun Media, ChrisD.ca and a number of other publications all have it wrong then because you saw with your own eyes. I guess when Ohio media called the Bombers to do a piece on Chris Garrett in 2012 and asked for comments from his coach, it was just a mistake that Kyle Walters was the guy they tabbed to do the interview. There are some things worth being stubborn about, but good grief is this ever not one of them.
  2. He filled both the RB coaching spot and the ST coordinator spot for us in those years. Not sure why you'd choose to be condescending as opposed to performing a simple Google search. *patiently waiting for you to admit your mistake*
  3. Or maybe he just decided to talk about what Drew can do instead of what the OL can do, since the question was about Drew.
  4. People will be happy with the uniforms - trust me. I'd expect the numbers to have gold trim this time instead of just being plain white (or blue, on the road uniform) and other than that, they'll stay mostly the same although the road uniform is decked out a bit to give it a bit of a more modernized look.
  5. I would say you're entirely misinterpreting that quote if you didn't gather that willingness to adapt from what he said.
  6. It's a lot easier to spot certain things from a different vantage point.
  7. The intent is to have the "eye in the sky" communicating AS play is occurring, not forcing a stoppage after the fact. I say intent because I highly doubt that's actually what will happen but the initial goal is not to force any extra stoppages.
  8. Released RB Martese Jackson, QB Quentin Williams and WR Evan Pszczonak Couple more spots opening up.
  9. I was excited about Reese and sad to see him go, but Jernigan has me even more excited. This guy was a legit play making slot receiver and he's still fairly young. Big fan of this signing for sure.

Best thing I could see happening (and by best, I mean what I'd like to see) is Bullet Club interfere at Payback, showing up looking like they're going to help AJ only to destroy him. I don't want them as a 3 man squad. Save that for Finn or go full blown faction.
  11. The predictability on second down is immediately what comes to mind.
  12. Scheme aside, shall we get into his playcalling? Horrible.
  13. I got your point. Nobody even accused Brown of bashing the team, it's just his incredibly negative outlook on everything. Is it prevalent in this specific article compared to some of the other ones he has written? No. But I just really can't stand his writing style. Hence my comments. Then again, it's no wonder you're supportive of DB97 - you're cut much from the same "everything is awful" cloth, based on what I've seen from your commentary.
  14. Regardless, what is your point. I don't think anyone is questioning what he said, I think most of the commentary has been about how the way he goes about expressing it was so very "Doug Brown-ish"
  15. It's funny, because the comment he quoted wasn't even made by a Bomber fan. Nice try, though.
  16. Bilukidi was a 4th rounder. FYI - Mulumba is a linebacker, but he primarily fills the same role down there. Pass rushing. Just different in name.
  17. The way the WADA did this is an absolute joke though.
  18. This is so very true.
  19. You've mastered it.
  20. Your take on hipsters is such a hipster take.
  21. So tired of Doug Brown giving us his ridiculously negative take on everything. Even when he likes something, he has to go out of his way to say 'but I don't like it THAT much'
  22. That would be his dad.
  23. Not a bottomless pit of money, per se and I'm sure that's not what he meant beyond the figure of speech. The difference is their ownership is basing decisions on how much money they FEEL like spending, our directors are basing decisions, quite probably, on how much they're able to spend. There's a very big difference.
  24. ... what I'm implying is there may be no decision to be made. I don't know what restraints they have or regulations they're forced to abide by,
  25. ... what I'm trying to say is that maybe they are not able to spend that money as they are not privately owned.
