  1. Interesting. Good for him. Sucks for us, but I was resigned to it. My guess is Edmonton. Seems too obvious.
  2. Really shouldn't have anything to do with the cap. 6 game or cut, there's no difference.
  3. You did read that, but it was a mistake. The line judge stands on the line, not the side judge.
  4. Peach relying on his contain abilities and dedication to assignment responsibility isn't good enough for me. What that says to me is that this is the best international rush end we can find and that in itself is a sad story.
  5. You don't think that's a bit melodramatic. He had 7 sacks last season and none this season. Not really fair to include the off-season. Whether you think it's melodramatic or not, it doesn't make him suck any less.
  6. It's been almost a year since Greg Peach had a sack.
  7. I like that we're looking at a running back who hasn't already made his way through the semi-pro and CFL tryout circuit. 2015 NFL draft eligible, bubble roster player, makes his way up here instead. Way better odds . Can't say the same for Vaughn.
  8. Bombers add RB Joe Hill and DE Chase Vaughn to practice roster Release WR Mike Willie and DE Justin Cole What?
  9. I don't. He's terrible.
  10. If we were able to challenge every call where it appears the refs had goofed it up we would need to bring a lunch to the game because of the length of the game. Not only do they make bad calls on what they think happened they also miss calls on things that happened that they did not see though at times they were just feet away. Example of this is receivers going offside. Usually, if you fire a few guys for unacceptable performance the word gets around. I don't really see how it would increase the length of a game at all. I'm not saying we arm coaches with more challenges. Just open up the scope of what is able to be challenged.
  11. Sorry. Not acceptable to me.
  12. They can't get replays right at the best of time .. the last thing I want is MORE opportunity to go to replay .. game flow right now sucks enough as it is. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. I suppose you're right though. But really, what alternative is there?
  13. Everything needs to be open to a challenge by a head coach. Until the CFL gets their business together, there really is no alternative.
  14. Hindsight is 20-20, it looked like a catch live to me and I was sitting directly in front of it. To say he should have thrown a flag just because "there was a chance" is total nonsense. There are a ton of things MOS can be reasonably criticized for - this is not one of them. The fact that J5V continues to pick on the most minute details of the game in order to push his agenda forward really says it all - you're clearly here just to be critical by any means necessary. My advice? Start familiarizing yourself with his actual legitimate faults so you sound less ridiculous.
  15. I'm going but only because I'm attending a birthday party and this is our kickoff to the evening. Should be one swell atmosphere after the game.
  16. The reality is they just probably did inventory and went "holy **** we have a ton of these ugly jerseys left over" Gold Day was born.
  17. lol no kidding
  18. I don't believe it's a double standard at all, truthfully. Iso has very strong opinions. There is nothing wrong with that. But those strong opinions are far more likely to generate strong responses. I hate to pull somebody else into this but I'll give you a guy like TBURGESS as an example. He's another very strongly opinionated person who generates a lot of heated debate, arguments and strong responses. But he is also willing to engage in those heated debates and respond back to those strong responses without getting upset. TB and I have had plenty of heated debates over the years due to difference in strong opinions, but I have a ton of respect for the fact that he's always willing to discuss things without getting emotional about it. There are TONS of strongly opinionated folks around this forum. Tons of ongoing heated debates about a number of discussion points. Tons of people being asked to explain their thoughts or rationale behind what they've said. Tons of opinions that are scrutinized and questioned on a daily basis. There are only a handful of people who seem to get upset about it.
  19. Only reasoning I can think of is they're preparing to defend against the "John Cornish Show" and may choose run stopping ability and positional play over pass-rush capability. Then Nate Collins should be playing.
  20. Are all the backup longsnappers and fullbacks for kick coverage? I would assume that's what the plethora of linebackers is for.
  21. Both of them are. Just looked - Cole on the PR, not the IR.
  22. Coordinators don't count against the cap.
  23. This is literally the worst roster I've seen all year. Two backup longsnappers Two fullbacks An inferior returner An inferior defensive line rotation (providing Cole isn't hurt) 480 linebackers One backup receiver who will be playing his first game ever, flanked by a guy who is really not a receiver at all Chevon Walker still in the lineup
  24. He might have to. He's the only backup receiver listed. Well ... technically Stoudermire. But the way I see that shaping up is that Capers and Burnett would sit.
  25. More ridiculous roster management.
