  1. Shows how much you know, I personally think Kramdi is way better than “Booch” gives him credit for. My personal crutch is blaming Bighill for everything. HE STINKS!
  2. Why did you put my name in quotations? That’s literally my name. More generous review than my wife would give
  3. I think most of this is entirely true but BA/Bighill are beyond done.
  4. I appreciate this perspective but I think what’s being glossed over is that the TALENT is what got us there. The primary issue now is that we don’t seem to be valuing talent over everything. Our whole philosophy on how we get to these winning records seems to be slowly going out the window. I know this is going to be a bit of an unfair argument but in the past two years, can anyone name me any coaching decisions that O’Shea has made that benefited us? Or have we mostly just been going at it with a set it and forget it type approach to the game and letting the chips fall where they may? Obviously I don’t mean specific schemes, but have we challenged at a huge moment? Pulled off a fake? Made a midweek roster change that paid dividends? Even the scripted first drive that we used to dominate on seems to have gone by the wayside. It’s become fairly clear to me the players and their talent is what propped us up and O’Shea seems content to let that continue, even though it’s not good enough anymore. Make the adjustments. Make unpopular decisions. Feel the game and coach within it. Where has ANY of that been?
  5. Patrice Rene is a guy I really wish we had not given up on so quickly
  6. The injuries are the biggest concern for me right now, but a home W where Collaros has good protection from the OL and gets 300 yards distributed to our playmakers doesn’t seem too far-fetched, I agree
  7. That’s the biggest concern of all, though. There seems to be a clear divide on the philosophy of the front office vs the philosophy of the head coach
  8. One hundred percent agreed. This wasn’t really in a public context though.
  9. You’re getting consumed by negativity. We pick up other team’s cuts all the time. We did it this year already.
  10. I don’t know about the rest of you but I, for one, quite enjoy being constantly reminded by Goalie that I am just a fan who knows nothing and has no opinion worth anything. It’s nice, because it eliminates the confusion I have when I sometimes log on here and think I’m in the offensive gameplan meeting. thanks Goalie!
  11. I talked a bit about it with Ed Tait after the game and he basically told me I was an idiot and I need to wait and see. Politely and respectfully, but the belief seems to be that this will be turned around just because.
  12. “there’s a difference between practice shape and game shape … unless you’re Patrick Neufeld, Brandon Alexander, Kyrie Wilson, Adam Bighill, Jackson Jeffcoat, Andrew Harris, Brady Oliveira, Stanley Bryant, Dalton Schoen, Nik Demski, Alden Darby or Jake Thomas of course”
  13. It’s so disappointing that we all know how this story has to end and all we can do is wait for it to happen
  14. Augustine was an easy cut to me, although to be fair he may have taken a minimum-ish or lower deal. Let‘s not forget, 100k isn’t really what it used to be in terms of contracts in the CFL. It’s only 35k more than minimum which isn’t a ton (but yes it’s still significant)
  15. It does seem depressing with the state of our roster but I’m going to try and not read too much into it … day one of the practice week has always been a mess. Just seems like so much hesitation to make actual different making moves. For example, I appreciate that we brought back Smith now that he’s healthy but Mitchell should’ve been gone at the same time. I think Fayad will be good too but seems foolish to bring just him in.
  16. I like both of these developments
  17. I got way beyond tired of the flat brim and curving it by hand just bent or broke it so I did some research. Had to come up with something, I have over 100 of them, couldn’t have them all looking like a mess lol
  18. I’m sure this is what you meant but it’s closer to 340k for Brady/Johnny
  19. They would’ve put Prukop in last year but not Streveler in this year
  20. I collect the New Era fitted hats and yeah if you just bend them, you’ll mess them up. I steam them and then curve them around a water bottle (I use a big Nalgene) and it works perfectly everytime … if you have a clothes steamer, that does it or myself I just boil a pot of water and put the brim over it for 30-45 seconds
  21. That trade was a great trade for us
  22. You know you can curve a 59fifty brim right 😂
  23. Chris Smith and Ali Fayad back Haba and Fox on the 6
