  1. Any franchise without an offensive minded President is doomed to failure.
  2. Not sure why anyone would want Khari Jones. Would rathe have Lapo than Khari AINEC. Khari Jones, other than being a name brand in Winnipeg, is not a reasonable candidate. I mean ... how bad is it going to look if we can Bellefeuille and replace him with a guy he showed the ropes to? Khari was first hired into the CFL coaching ranks by Bellefeuille. His offense is run like Bellefeuilles. Pass.
  3. Why do you say that? What title would we have to give him to get him out of Toronto? I think his contract is up. Not that Toronto wouldn't want him back, but we may be able to tempt him
  4. You could argue the defense bent and broke at times we would've liked them to have not. Obviously. But let's also factor in how long they were on the field in certain situations. How many times they made a stop only to have the O put them right back on the field. We need a few players (a DT, a DE and maybe a guy to replace Demond) but other than that our D is VERY solid. They just need to get a little more time on the sidelines courtesy of our offense. The offense is atrocious and even with Drew Willy, we were hindered. Bellefeuille was a terrible OC during his time here and I'm glad to see him gone.
  5. My money would be on Marcus Brady.
  6. Would disagree strongly with that.
  7. I'm not sure what world you're operating in where firing MB isn't an automatic. Quite honestly, I would take spinning a wheel with 12 plays on it to decide what we call over having him run our offense. If nothing else, it'd be less predictable.
  8. Every DB gets beat a lot, there's nearly 40000 yards of passing a year in the CFL.
  9. a pop-punk band that was popular 10 years ago... that's fine if you're ok with that... I'm not... I don't pretend to be a modern pop music expert... but I honestly haven't heard these guys in the news in years... They just released a new album and are kicking off a tour. They're pretty relevant. Not my style, but I know people who will be thrilled.
  10. The number one key to success is caring about how you look on the sidelines. Right, Bill?
  11. A fan forum where we complain about the facial hair of our head coach. No wonder I can't be bothered anymore.
  12. The other part of the quote is more interesting.
  13. 3 huge turnovers and they were the reason we were even in the game.If you want a reason for the 38 minutes of Ottawa TOP, look no further than the 6 carries for 20 yards by Cam Marshall or the 6 sacks on Matt Nichols. The defense is as much to blame as the offense. Fatigue does not factor in when the defense gives up over 300 yards passing and 19 first downs in the first half. Huge chunks of real estate given up throughout the entire first two quarters including an embarrassing 75 yard td drive at the end of the half. Defense has lots of holes. Maybe, but a bunch of that came when they essentially had to play an entire quarter with maybe a break or two of a play from our O. Hard to ask our D to keep up a high level of play when they can't get off the field for more than a minute.
  14. Probably the best post you've ever had. Well written!
  15. To do things the way they're described in that blog is one thing - if that's someone's choice, that's all well and good. But to suggest that's the ONLY way as the blog does? Bullshit.
  16. Also not an answer to the question.
  17. It's not negativity, it's reality. Some guys are meant to be roleplayers and when you find GOOD roleplayers, they're very valuable. Jake Thomas is a GOOD roleplayer, but he shouldn't be starting on a team aspiring to win championships.
  18. Playoff spot or not, I think we're kidding ourselves expecting some kind of fairy tale ending to our season. I can't see anything beyond a one game foray into the postseason and at that point, big deal. It doesn't help Drew Willy any, because he likely won't play. It doesn't give our offense any momentum going into next season, because we sure as **** better be starting from scratch anyways. Maybe it gives guys like Bass or Adams some playoff experience they can learn from on the D side of things, but aside from that, I don't see much coming from it.
  19. Not something I would do, but I don't blame the guy - everyone deals with their frustrations differently. I'm doing things I never would've imagined doing before as a Bomber fan, they're just not as extreme.
  20. Would likely be overexposed in much bigger of a role than he is in right now, but he'll make a great backup to Bilukidi next year. Glad to see him extended.
  21. Added to PR and they already cut BJ Catalon lol
  22. Big Country! I like Farmer and Catalon ... both really intriguing guys. Don't know anything about Davis.
  23. Lining up Pontbriand as a wideout really says it all. Roster management, scouting and schemes (especially schemes) all bundled into one.
