Sweet. Even better! Wonder why Austin was so eager to move him.. Didnt like hamilton or felt it was a dead end? Eager to move him? Not really. Tajh was eager to play in the CFL and being on Hamilton's negotiation list, they have to offer him a contract. Seen as how they have Collaros, Masoli and Mathews ... not really much room for him, so instead of losing him for nothing, they knew he was highly regarded enough that they could get something for him.

I think the way your question was given as a "if you were the GM..." is what is the issue. You could get the same answers from people if it was something like "What signing do you think would have more of an impact?" Thanks Mr. Professor...you're so smart! Taking constructive responses from someone and mocking them for it. Man, you really know how to do it all don't you.

You're not wrong, but liken it to the idea of a Petan level prospect after dealing with a bunch of Eric O'Dells.
-
It's more likely you're looking at the guy we view as our potential development QB.

Did all receivers wear No.6? That is some player. Sammy Watkins.
-
Let me preface this by saying I still want Muamba because he makes any team better but ... Simmons, Bass and Hurl are ALL playing well above average.

We don't have a million in cap space and if you don't like the question then don't answer or respond. It's a legit question that Walters may need to consider. None of us know the Bombers true cap situation. If none of us know the true cap situation, why are you writing about it factually in the first sentence of this post?

Henoc on his way to Hamilton & Toronto for visit

Only thing might be his role there. Otherwise I fully believe that's where he'll end up. -
Open question for MBBers - direction of the franchise
Mike replied to TrueBlue4ever's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
The only freefall I see going on is your attitude. You're spiraling out of control. I'm going to grab some popcorn. -
No idea why some of you get so caught up on player height and weight. It's all about skill set.

... that Edmonton had a weak point.

Bryant Neufeld Picard Chungh Capers? Bryant Longo Picard Chungh Capers? Either way. Seems like a help.

I still think you're right about Picard, to be honest.

That is one hell of a deal.

Open question for MBBers - direction of the franchise
Mike replied to TrueBlue4ever's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Under normal circumstances ... no. Under these circumstances? Absolutely. -
They have allowed at least four if not five. There was one in game 1, the hamilton game here, the TO game, and LDC. I think they also allowed a TD in game 2. Same game. And there wasn't one in week 1. Three.

The last throwing TD was to Cam Marshall Aug 14 against Toronto... but that actually proves your point even better... that was essentially a broken down play... quick check down to the RB who made it happen from there... It gives me chills to imagine Willy in a good offense... imagine Drew Willy playing for Calgary or Toronto... "to a receiver"

I don't know how anyone can honestly believe Marcel Bellefeuille is a good offensive coordinator who deserves to keep his job. His gameplanning and ability to utilize players properly is absolutely atrocious. We sign Chevon Walker this week and dress him ... never believed it was a smart move to begin with ... but at least give the guy a chance to make an impact. His assets are best used when you get him into space and what does MB do? Call plays to run him up the gut the entire day. What a joke. Don't even get me started on Nick Moore and Clarence Denmark, who are stud receivers who have basically been brought down to the level of short yardage possession receivers. Two touchdowns between them all year. Find a way to get these guys open. Last time we threw a touchdown to a receiver? August 9th. On a sweep. It's a joke. This offense is honestly embarrassing, it's getting worse and I find it insulting that anyone within the club expects any of us to believe it's not Marcel. Is it just a coincidence that he's done the exact same things anywhere he has ever been? Is it just the players every time? Biggest coincidence in the world that no matter where he goes, stud players end up looking like garbage? For as good as Drew Willy can make this offense look periodically, I want to flip it around and pose a question to everyone - can you guys imagine how good Willy could look in a REAL offense?
-
embarrassing that they make a firing and MB stays.

Fact is, the site is garbage. It's even more useless because it enables fans to create a fictitious argument. I would estimate roughly 10% of the information they have listed is even somewhat correct. There's no point to sourcing it.

That's interesting, seen as how it didn't exist last year.

Bombers Blown Out by 0 & 9 Team ... Oh well, yawn
Mike replied to BigBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
It's pretty sad when people want to leave their seats empty, but truthfully ... I am one of them. I won't be attending another game until MB is fired. I'll watch at home but it's not worth the trip at all. MAYBE if Muamba comes back, I'll be in the crowd to show him the love he deserves. -
never trust a guy with two first names.

I honestly have such a hard time responding to your posts. They're filled with such misinformation that it makes me really wonder if you are capable of seeing things with an unbiased eye. I mean really, you made two statements in that entire post and neither one of them is anywhere even NEAR true. Willy has completed 23 quarters of football this season, so for the sake of giving your argument a bit of merit, let's say 6 full games even though it's one quarter and change short of that. He's thrown for 8 touchdowns and we've rushed for 3 more on drives that he's finished off. So on average, it's basically double what you suggested. When Brohm came in against Hamilton, it was 17-7 Hamilton. In the first quarter. That is not a game that is out of hand, never mind "well out of hand". When Brohm came in against Edmonton, it was 4-3 Edmonton. Neither one of these is a ridiculous situation for a backup quarterback to enter into. They should actually be the exact kind of situations a backup QB is mentally prepared to enter, seen as how the body of their work isn't really expected to come in mop up time after their team is already well out in front. Feel free to share your opinion but don't try and lace it with pure bull**** and expect to have it slide. While I agree with most of this post Mike. average of 2 tds a game is still complete bullshit, especially this year. But as for the other comments, yes the games he's stepped into have given him plenty of time to show something...even a glimmer of hope that he's improving...but we only see 3 passes in a row bounce off the turf. Brohm is brutal, but I'll say MB is worse. Oh, for sure not good enough. But that doesn't make the facts in his post any more accurate. I said I'm ok with Brohm starting this weekend. Given who is available, who would you prefer? Could Brohm have been better coming off the bench? Maybe but I'm not going to vilify the guy because given the limited reps he does appear to do some things well. Better than Marve. And he does some things tempo-wise better than Willy. Unfortunately it's been a perfect storm for him. As for Drew Willy - he has NOT been able to produce 2 TDs per game. Far from it. Since he arrived in Winnipeg Willy has generated less than one strike per game, on average. In 24 starts for him its 22 TDs. And 19 INTs. That level of O production is not going to win games in Pop Warner, let alone the CFL. Winnipeg's can't run, can't pass O doesn't scare anyone, even with Drew Willy at the helm. so we just ignore the rushing touchdowns now. Gotcha. OK I missed the 2 rushing TDs Drew Willy scored since he arrived in Winnipeg. That is a grand total of 24 TDs in 24 starts as quarterback - on average one TD per start since he got here. And 19 INTs. Tell me you think that is even close to adequate and then we can just disagree. It's just so obvious Bombers need a QB to step up and create some momentum and confidence. We don't appear to have anyone on the roster who can do that. You're still missing the point. You said "when Drew Willy is at the helm, the O can't" - meaning you can't just count the touchdowns HE scores. What about all the ones Marve or Brohm or Cotton or Marshall scored on goal line sneaks, short handoffs, etc? Those all count.
