Thing about Yantz is you can get super creative with him WHILE you develop him. Develop him as a QB but give him a chance to get with the receivers as well. Just imagine how creative they could get with the gadget packages if you had a "receiver" who can sling it like Yantz can.

Term doesn't bother me, maybe it lines up well with whatever cap commitments they've got going on or something.

Got to broaden his horizons a bit. We'll just introduce him to the concept of dating girls that you're not related to. Sure, there's that awkward "getting to know them" stage that you don't have with cousins, but on the plus side, if you decide to have kids, there no "What in the world...?" from the doctor during delivery. I highly doubt Taman dates. By the looks of his appearance in recent interviews, he's pretty much given up on life outside of the Riders. He *was* dating the Bombers head cheer leader at one point... Just heard Walters explaining the Morgan pick. They liked him because they viewed him as the only guy in the draft who can compete at both safety and field corner.

Impossible to say. I'm not happy about the Morgan pick either because that's not who I wanted to see, but we can't say "so and so would've been available" - it's pretty obvious that draft boards don't play out anywhere near what the media and fans expect. So while I'm not thrilled with the pick, it can't be called a waste at this point.

WE ALL LOVE TRADES BUT there is no way we trade our #2 which is really the number #1 with Ottawa's specialty pick of Mateas. The chance of that happening is the square root of zero. What would really be interesting is if the Bombers had their pick of Demski or Durant at 11. If Shaq goes in the first round, they just might.

I'm starting to think Murray-Lawrence falls no further than 7. If the Riders are among the favorites, he must be a guy they're considering at 6 because he's not lasting until their next pick that's for sure. If Shaq jumps into the first round, I don't see where Demski lands other than in our lap at 11 unless someone trades up to 10 ahead of us.
