  1. Let's just wait and see if they make arrangements for seating.
  2. They can't hold it there this year.
  3. yup I don't get the impression these guys are at that level, but they're better than most lately. Especially Waggoner.
  4. I'm pretty confident that Cotton will win the job out of camp, but if he doesn't, all the better.
  5. I don't think Penton made it up but I'd be very surprised if it came from the Winnipeg office. The story probably is less "Winnipeg shopping Chris Greaves" and more "CFL teams shopping for Chris Greaves"
  6. Wouldn't be a fan of trading Greaves unless the return was similar to what Montreal got for Bomben. That being said, Greaves needs a bounce back year.
  7. I'll predict Waggoner goes for a third and Chapman for a fifth. I think we'll get one of them.
  8. Bombers want to sign everyone to 12 year deals I get what you're saying, but CFL clubs definitely stagger contract lengths with the intention of making sure they don't have too many free agents in any given season. So maybe 2017 offseason worked better than 2018 for the club.
  9. Bombers may have only wanted him to sign a two year deal.
  10. Justin Dunk reporting Chungh actually signed a three year deal, so that's interesting.
  11. Not surprised at Goard. Booker surprises me a bit but hey, if they found an upgrade, I'm good with that too. Gives us a bit more roster space for camp too, I think.
  12. Hope everything is good with Burke's personal life.
  13. Apparently he's got a rep of being lazy. Imagine if he actually starts trying?
  14. Now that you mention it, I think he has been on our negotiation list for a while. I think I recognize the name from the article Tait put out a few years back with names on it. I'll check edit: nope, nevermind. wasn't him.
  15. 30 in one year is actually the second highest single season total since they started recording the stat. The year he did it, the next closest was Cordarro Law with 22. Not knowing anything about this guy I immediately had him pegged as a middle linebacker but I have no idea where he's gonna line up. Rush end?
  16. Jesus christ ... This guy ranks 22nd all time in NCAA history with 50 tackles for a loss. And he only played two years. The all time leader is Khalil Mack with 75 and he played four full years. Other names with 50? Von Miller. Ndamukong Suh. Phillip Hunt.
  17. Pretty sure this is the guy Jeff Fisher put the blond wig on in practice to emulate Clay Matthews when the Rams were prepping to play the Packers
  18. hey, if I can make a few bucks playing fantasy sports, I'm sure there are plenty of other people on here who could make more than a few.
  19. Thing about Yantz is you can get super creative with him WHILE you develop him. Develop him as a QB but give him a chance to get with the receivers as well. Just imagine how creative they could get with the gadget packages if you had a "receiver" who can sling it like Yantz can.
  20. Don't know how many of you are into this kind of thing, but VICTIV is a newer daily fantasy sports site and they have a decent promotion going on for anyone who wants a free stab at building a small bankroll to play around with. Basically, if you sign up, they'll give you 3 $10 entries against their Victron predictor, which predicts an average daily lineup in whatever sport you pick (in most situations, it'll be baseball for now) and if you beat it, you get the $10 to use on their site. You can do that on 3 different days for up to $30. If anyone uses Fanduel, DraftKings, etc - same thing. They do NHL, NFL, MLB, NBA, PGA, etc and they have all sorts of multi-user tournaments going on during any given day. I personally play mostly on Fanduel myself because it's mobile compatible, but for anyone not looking to spend any money but having the chance to play around and get the hang of this type of thing, Victiv is a good chance to try it out. To anyone who doesn't know what this is, it's really simple - fantasy sports but it lasts one day. You pick a lineup based on your budget (you get $55,000 and every player has a specific $ value so you can't stack your team, you have to find value, etc) and then get a score based on how your lineup performs that day. If you score high enough in whatever tournament you've entered, you may win some cash. I'll drop my referral link and be really upfront about it - if you sign up, every $10 entry you win gets me $5 as well so we both win. https://www.victiv.com/r/ld36zz9wx4 If you want to participate but hate referral links, you can also go to www.victiv.com and register there. The good thing about these guys too, they don't handle withdrawls via cheque right now, they actually do withdrawls directly via Paypal so it's easy to cash out if/when you want to. I ran their 3 $10 entries and turned that $30 into a couple hundred myself. Good way to get a chance at some spare cash for a new Bomber jersey or Grey Cup ticket or something!
  21. Well I guess I could point out that media generally aren't going to ask those questions out loud on social media, they'll likely ask via e-mail, text, DM, etc. I guess I could also point out that technically, Bauming's tweet was published a few seconds before Darren Cameron's response to your question, so Bauming didn't get his answer from you at all. But either way, this is great fun.
  22. Where did you see that?Edit: Saw it from Bauming. That kind of sucks... Actually Cameron replied to me and Bauming got it from there. You asked. lmao did you seriously just tweet him "you're welcome" Yep. oh man, never change.

  24. Term doesn't bother me, maybe it lines up well with whatever cap commitments they've got going on or something.
  25. Got to broaden his horizons a bit. We'll just introduce him to the concept of dating girls that you're not related to. Sure, there's that awkward "getting to know them" stage that you don't have with cousins, but on the plus side, if you decide to have kids, there no "What in the world...?" from the doctor during delivery. I highly doubt Taman dates. By the looks of his appearance in recent interviews, he's pretty much given up on life outside of the Riders. He *was* dating the Bombers head cheer leader at one point... If there's one thing I know, it sure doesn't take much to get a date with a Bomber cheerleader.
