  1. I think it needs to be said out loud that this kid deserves a ton of credit for coming on here and handling this thread with a ton of maturity and class. Props to you, Tristan. I think it's safe to say we're all cheering for you.
  2. I'd LOVE to get Nik Lewis.
  3. I'm not too interested in Bowey, myself. Although I suppose he's a decent piece. I like a lot of Washington's pieces. Many of their fans would rather dump Kuznetsov than Burakovsky ... I'd take either one. Gladly.
  4. There's no way Washington gives up MAJO, Burakovsky and a first rounder. I'd quite honestly take Burakovsky and a first for Kane, though.
  5. To be fair, when Reebok rebranded the entire league in 2012, the new jerseys were released in early May.
  6. Stanley Bryant in a Bomber uniform already ? Mike, I have to ask, are you clairvoyant ? No I just have MS Paint.
  7. That'd be very disappointing. Everything I've heard suggests the royal blues are (were?) coming back as the full time uniform. But who knows, plans always change. **** would that be disappointing though.
  8. He still lives here. Chris Kowalczuk works out there too, I believe.
  9. QB Kevin Glenn Brian Brohm Dan LeFevour RB Kendial Lawrence Nic Grigsby REC Greg Ellingson Spencer Watt Ernest Jackson Wallace Miles Brad Sinopoli Sam Giguere Bakari Grant Nik Lewis OL Stanley Bryant SirVincent Rogers Edwin Harrison Dan Clark Greg Wojt DL Moton Hopkins Justin Hickman Brandon Boudreaux LB Desia Dunn Sam Hurl Keenan MacDougall Rennie Curran Johnny Sears Brian Peters DB Geoff Tisdale Tristan Jackson P Josh Bartel These are, in my opinion, the top 30 FA. Friendly pool to see who predicts the most accurate list of destinations.
  10. It's Greg Carr on a bulk.
  11. Asked a couple people this morning who the number one target for Winnipeg will be tomorrow. Answer was the same every time. <----------------------------------------------------------
  12. LMAO at one of the comments. Kane, Scheifele and Morrissey for Kessel
  13. There's no sense in filling every hole we have in free agency. These guys are going to want upfront money. Trust your scouting. We need a LT - I want experience there, get Bryant. We need three linebackers, maybe four if you want a DI - Fill one or maybe two holes here to get some experience. We need a receiver - If the price is right, sure. Otherwise trust your scouting. We need to have breathing room for rookies to come in and make impacts as well.
  14. Not sure where you'd get the comparison between Reilly and Brohm. Brohm is nowhere near Reilly status. Brohm isn't even the best FA QB available. He's the third, MAYBE fourth (depending on if you favor Sunseri, which no doubt some teams would) best QB on the market and he's thrown exactly zero touchdowns in the CFL. Would you want Walters to trade for Brohm as a pending free agent at this point? I sure wouldn't. Oh, and he's all of 6 months or so shy of 30.
  15. Jones name didn't come up as often as Heenan because Taman announced that Heenan was testing the market and because it was widely assumed that Jones would either go NFL or re-sign with the Stamps prior to FA. However, there is little doubt that Jones is a HUGE fish in a small pond. He will be the highest paid OL in the league for whatever team signs him. 300k? Yea....that's a number that could be realistic. Can't see 300, he is too young to get that high that fast. He'll have no where to go from there. But definitely agree he will be the highest paid Olineman in the league this year. I think 250-265 gets it done. Why is he too young? By all accounts, he is the best offensive lineman in the league (I personally think Stanley Bryant is the best lineman in the league, but Jones' resume says Most Outstanding Lineman 2014 so he gets the nod) and he's got the right passport. If he wants to let offers flood in, he's going to be the highest paid non QB in the history of the SMS era. If anything, his age works in his favor. 250-265k was Heenan territory. I'm not saying Jones signs for 300k because I don't necessarily think he's a "I'm going to the highest bidder" kind of guy, but I would be shocked if he doesn't get at least one offer than starts with a 3. Josh Bourke, at 31 years old, hit a contract of 215k annually last year. When he signed the deal, the salary cap was 4.4 million. His deal = 4.8% of annual cap max. Brett Jones, at 24 years old, would be earning 5.9% of the annual cap max in 2015 if he signs for 300k. 1.1% difference for a guy who is 7 years younger, getting better and already has been declared the best OL in the league? I don't think it's unreasonable at all.
  16. Jones will get offers starting with a 3 if he hits free agency.
  17. Ray doesn't do the forum thing anymore, but he's still a diehard Bomber fan. He's even got himself a Feoli-Gudino jersey.
  18. Much better than Brett Carter, but not as good Nik Demski IMO. The comparison I've always used for Goodrich is Johnny Forzani.
  19. I'll be in the chatroom if anyone is interested in joining tomorrow. I'll be around all day starting at 11 AM EST (an hour ahead of free agency opening) See you there.
  20. What do you consider notable?
  21. Edmonton is a team that will make some noise as well
  22. I asked Ed Tait - the reason he listed Kurt Goodrich on that article is because the Bombers asked him to. He'll be in camp. Great news.
  23. Not really.
  24. Quite honestly if one of Rogers / Bryant isn't a Bomber I'll be shocked. At this point, I'm expecting us to go after those two and Jackson. Maybe Wojt but who knows what his deal is, his camp has been incredibly quiet.
  25. DB Johnny Adams from Michigan State and OL David Mims from Virginia Union http://bluebombers.com/article/bombers-add-DB-and-OL
