Thing about Yantz is you can get super creative with him WHILE you develop him. Develop him as a QB but give him a chance to get with the receivers as well. Just imagine how creative they could get with the gadget packages if you had a "receiver" who can sling it like Yantz can.

Don't know how many of you are into this kind of thing, but VICTIV is a newer daily fantasy sports site and they have a decent promotion going on for anyone who wants a free stab at building a small bankroll to play around with. Basically, if you sign up, they'll give you 3 $10 entries against their Victron predictor, which predicts an average daily lineup in whatever sport you pick (in most situations, it'll be baseball for now) and if you beat it, you get the $10 to use on their site. You can do that on 3 different days for up to $30. If anyone uses Fanduel, DraftKings, etc - same thing. They do NHL, NFL, MLB, NBA, PGA, etc and they have all sorts of multi-user tournaments going on during any given day. I personally play mostly on Fanduel myself because it's mobile compatible, but for anyone not looking to spend any money but having the chance to play around and get the hang of this type of thing, Victiv is a good chance to try it out. To anyone who doesn't know what this is, it's really simple - fantasy sports but it lasts one day. You pick a lineup based on your budget (you get $55,000 and every player has a specific $ value so you can't stack your team, you have to find value, etc) and then get a score based on how your lineup performs that day. Term doesn't bother me, maybe it lines up well with whatever cap commitments they've got going on or something.

Got to broaden his horizons a bit. We'll just introduce him to the concept of dating girls that you're not related to. Sure, there's that awkward "getting to know them" stage that you don't have with cousins, but on the plus side, if you decide to have kids, there no "What in the world...?" from the doctor during delivery. I highly doubt Taman dates. By the looks of his appearance in recent interviews, he's pretty much given up on life outside of the Riders. He *was* dating the Bombers head cheer leader at one point... If there's one thing I know, it sure doesn't take much to get a date with a Bomber cheerleader.

Just heard Walters explaining the Morgan pick. They liked him because they viewed him as the only guy in the draft who can compete at both safety and field corner.

Impossible to say. I'm not happy about the Morgan pick either because that's not who I wanted to see, but we can't say "so and so would've been available" - it's pretty obvious that draft boards don't play out anywhere near what the media and fans expect. So while I'm not thrilled with the pick, it can't be called a waste at this point.

WE ALL LOVE TRADES BUT there is no way we trade our #2 which is really the number #1 with Ottawa's specialty pick of Mateas. The chance of that happening is the square root of zero. If you want to dream think about our 2nd or 3rd picks. Great way to encourage the discussion you were looking for. Yelling at people. Lol off to the chat I go!

What would really be interesting is if the Bombers had their pick of Demski or Durant at 11. If Shaq goes in the first round, they just might.

I'm starting to think Murray-Lawrence falls no further than 7. If the Riders are among the favorites, he must be a guy they're considering at 6 because he's not lasting until their next pick that's for sure. If Shaq jumps into the first round, I don't see where Demski lands other than in our lap at 11 unless someone trades up to 10 ahead of us.

We're getting one of Waud, Durant, Demski, Bodanis, Ackie or Murray-Lawrence if we stay at 11 so that should be enough reason to hold there unless the price is too reasonable to move up.

My guess is that if the Bombers won't be willing to move 15, they won't succeed. They won't get away with #11 + 2016 picks.

#2 + rights to Bilukidi or Mulumba for BC #5 and Westerman. Hard not to think we'd be stretching our financial limits at least a little bit with a move like that but it would be funny to see JAB Westerman and JAM Westerman on the back of the jerseys.

That's not what Walters said. He said there is one guy they have as the consensus number one player on THEIR board. There's nothing to suggest that means Ottawa has the same guy in mind.

I think Demski is worthy of going in the ten spot but if Ottawa keeps that selection, I see no sense in them using it on him. IMO, they'd be much better served using it on Shaq Lawrence or depth for behind Pruneau. It's questionable that they're even going to start ONE Canadian receiver (they could go 4 OL, Pruneau, Capiciotti and Shologan) and they already have Sinopoli, Carter and MacDonell.
