I think the way it works now is as so: 3 non playoff teams draft top 3 in order determined by regular season standings Then the divisional semi losers draft 4-5 in order determined by regular season standings Divisional final losers draft 6-7 in order determined by regular season standings Grey Cup loser drafts 8 Grey Cup winner drafts 9

The thing to keep in mind is that the rankings mean very little going forward until the draft. People will use them as law in discussions on forums, but the reality of the situation is this list is formed by the rankings submitted by the nine front offices in the CFL and teams are going to be deceptive with a purpose as we get closer to draft day. Yep. But if the Bombers are hoping to have an OL that is comparable to the Als, the Stamps and the Riders, I think this pool is the best chance to expedite that process. A couple of top picks OL combined with a stud OL picked up in the free agency, I think it's not impossible for the team to field 5 national OL next year. There really would be no sense in using 5 Canadian offensive linemen next year. Especially considering none of these top tier prospects are strong options at tackle. Alex Mateas has played center and only center for UConn ... last time he played tackle was in the CJFL. Chungh and McEwen in Calgary are guards. Danny Groulx ... maybe but I'm not banking on him (or Dillon Guy or Jacob Ruby) being contributors at tackle in year one.

At this point, probably the top 4. As well as Lemar Durant, who is still (for some reason) absent from these draft rankings.

Not surprised Adam Konar cracked the top 20, he had a pretty strong run in the postseason with Calgary and he was fringe top 20 already. Between him, Archambault and Chris Ackie, there are some pretty intriguing LB prospects out there. I think eventually all 3 of them could leapfrog Shortill on draft boards.

I like the signing. I also don't know what to make of it, big picture-wise. The Oline needs to be better; almost no one would dispute that. But the pieces we have now...when you break it down, what are the moves that make the line better? Some might argue about Neufeld, but from what I've seen his health is the concern, not the level of play when he's healthy. I consider Morley to have had a good season, and we used the second overall pick this year to draft his future replacement. And here we are lauding the Greaves signing. Jace Daniels? Lots of us think he can be our next left tackle. So where does that leave us? We just need one player to make this unit better than the 71(?) sack-surrendering squad it was this season? That doesn't add up to me. I don't have an answer here, it's just something stuck in my head - there has to be more than one of these guys that aren't keepers when you're last in the league in sacks surrendered. I think it's a good signing in the sense that now we have the control of a Canadian asset. I wouldn't be disappointed if a player stole Greaves' job from him though.

I legit would not pay more than $10 This. And that's only to add it to the collection... not to actually wear or look at it. ...and they'd better throw in the stitching for free... I wonder if they would stitch "UGLY JERSEY" on the namebar.

Sigh. I know. This is head against the wall stuff. And yet... Please list all the candidates. Benevides and Washington if the new BC HC doesn't want him are two that immediately come to mind. So out of curiosity ... let's say hypothetically Washington is our first choice. Then would you be alright with the current silence?

Other than a core of complainers here that I've read the fanbase in general is staying patient. Other than a core of blue & gold koolaid drinkers here who'd jump off a cliff if Walters told them to, the general fanbase wants to know what's going on. If you think your impatience is representative of the prevailing opinion among our fanbase right now, you're way off. I tested a theory I had this morning. There are 3 other season ticket holders in my office. I went up to each of them individually and asked what they think about the Bombers taking so long to make a decision on the coordinators. Answer 1 - "the Grey Cup was only last week" Answer 2 - "wasn't Grey Cup a couple weeks ago there's lots of time" Answer 3 - "doesn't that usually happen in February"

Now that we have the Grey Cup out of the way ...

My suspicion is that they want to bring Mark Washington here, but the complete fallout from BC might not happen until they hire a new head coach. They're being smart and hanging on to the guys they have now until the new coach officially says he doesn't want them. They definitely wanted Washington at some point. I tend to think their preference is Washington, Benevides, (maybe somebody else), Etcheverry in that order. They won't pursue Benevides strongly until Washington's future is decided. (just my opinion) -
2013 and 2014 the Ticats had his rights, so he would be a FA. Does Bilukidi and Mulumba still have NFL PR eligibility for 2015 ? None.

Do you mean Impact Testing? Two weeks ago Punk claims to have had 13 concussions, the most recently in January off, I believe, a clothesline. A stiff clothesline sucks but its not a guy throwing fists at your head at full force *trying* to hurt. One has to wonder about Punk getting cleared to fight. Punk has a lot of price, too much sometimes. But Brock was the same way. The difference is, Brock never really carried himself as a prick. Punk does. Punk is arrogant. Even in his recent podcast where he lambasted WWE, he's burying their booking (and rightfully so) but the booking he suggested was awful, but to him it was great. I think this is bucket list stuff, much like Brock and the NFL and even if Punk wins, I wonder how long he'd really do it. I mean sure, if he's winning. But that first tough loss, I question whether he'd want to bounce back or if he'd check it off the bucket list and move on. Pretty sure he meant Impact Wrestling as in it's not promising for them that he'd rather try something new altogether than switch companies within his field.

If I was the UFC, I'd serve up a tomato can with a big name following. The first guy that came to mind was a guy who mouthed off about his signing. Phil Baroni.

Just curious - what's the rationale behind breaking up Trouba and Stuart?

Can't wait to travel through the wonderful roadways of St. James to get to the locker room not in the locker room sale. For mountains of super hero t-shirts.

I think he's going to lose, but I also think he's going to surprise some people. That being said ... can you imagine the reaction if he wins?

He pitched for the Cubs ... ... and the Mets. His brief baseball career was interrupted when he was suddenly drafted by the Buffalo Sabres ... ... who were thrilled with his signing until he pulled an Eric Lindros and refused to report to them. The holdout went on a very long time until he was eventually traded to his hometown Chicago Blackhawks. ..... not to mention his collegiate football career at the University of Miami.
