  1. Nah, those are just spam bots. We get them all the time.
  2. Thanks for the explanation...I guess my question still is...how is anyone going to know that at this point in time? If you sign a commitment for 3 years, aren't you going to expect to be given information on what you're committing to? If they're advertising a promotion that is based on the commitment to season tickets for 2015-2017, I'd sure hope they know what they're asking from the people who sign up.
  3. Way too early to start projecting who will/won't be available. There's a whole list of issues to be addressed.
  4. You never fail to establish how dumb you are. What? It's a completely valid question, I was wondering the same thing myself.
  5. I don't disagree, we need to draft at least two offensive linemen. But given the track record of early round draft picks + the quantity of strong prospects at that position in this draft class ... nothing says we have to draft one with our first pick. Could look at guys like Sukh Chungh or Jacob Ruby in the second round if we go elsewhere in the first.
  6. I wonder how much hype Demski is going to get after his performance on Saturday.
  7. If this was Riderfans, we could totally blame the Somali pirates.
  8. Based upon what? No reason he can't? How about a reason he should? Again - based upon what?
  9. Whoa whoa whoa there. You mean..... nah iso, goalie, Mr P and the rest can't be wrong about Drew freaking Willy can they? .... Ummmm, nope, it's me, I'm the one who doesn't know what he's talking about. Its the water boy (right Willy boys) -he's the culprit. Not Drew Willy, He had the time to go to his fourth reads, no one was open. That's why he was sacked. Willy is God, he can do no wrong. Now Willy is Jesus Christ, and he's shouldering the burden of the whole team You'd probably get a lot more credit for your opinion if you didn't sound like such a clown while you convey it. "look at me look at me look at me look at me"
  10. Because he's shown to be highly capable, it's his first year as a starter and he's surrounded by (at most times) a pretty terrible supporting cast?
  11. I'm not sure behind the exact way it works or how it's dealt with or anything, but the depth chart that teams release the day before a game has to be accurate. If it says Willy has to start, he's expected to start and while I'm not sure what it is, I believe there is some kind of penalty for not abiding by the depth chart. They could make a change in an emergency due to illness/injury/whatever but I think to do that, they'd have to rule the player in question out of the entire game. Would be interested to know exactly how it works, actually.
  12. Suits is what I watched on Netflix most recently. So good.
  13. ITT: old people using the internet. I'll weed through this stuff in the morning ... but on first glance, man some of you guys take the internet seriously.
  14. That says everything you need to know about how teams feel about the Riders without Durant "we can beat them with our backups" Cornish is just that real good mix of speed and power. He's big and strong and has good enough balance he can run through tackles but he's also fast enough to break some big runs if he gets a hole. If you can draw up the kind of running back every team wants to have that's the guy there. The fact he is Canadian is such a bonus as well.. He's 30 years old though. Only has a year or so left before he falls off a cliff and is out of the league. Signs of him already falling apart. That's an incredibly bold prediction. I bet he plays until he's 33 at least.
  15. It is a shame they waited so long. MOS should've benched Grigsby for Cotton 7-8 games ago and maybe even given Drew (Happy Feet) Willy a rest at the same time. I worry that O'Shea (who admits, and has demonstrated by his comments, that he knows nothing about the offensive phase of the game) might be too stubborn to learn from his or his coordinators errors. I mean this is an O that is guided by Buck Pierce and terminally-mediocre Marcel Bellefueille, and our lack offensive production combined with ill-timed offensive turnovers has been the achilles heel of this club all season long. Kyle Walters and Wade Miller aren't exactly offensive geniuses either. This could be a problem going forward. It's comments like these that make me shake my head. We should bring back Jim Bell. He just set the PIT Football record for TD passes in a season, he obviously knows what is needed to turn our offense around.
  16. That stadium looks terrible, it looks like a big hole in the ground.
  17. Half of this video was people cheering or highfiving. He seems a little slow as far as his speed. That being said, he's looks like a good "smash through walls" type of back, and he slips away from the D pretty good too. He looks like he either finds the holes, or makes his own. I'd take him for his smashing ability regardless of him not being that fast. That video doesn't even have shitty rap music accompanying it, so he can't be that good https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvzXqRVh6Ys Here.
  18. I've been waiting for them to bring in an Oregon guy forever ... I'd be beyond excited. Exciting players in that program. I guess for now, I'll settle for a relative.
  19. I would agree with you, but Willy is in "in between" stage. He's not inexperienced enough that hanging him out to dry is going to shatter his confidence, but he's not experienced enough either that he can't gain valuable knowledge from the reps that he gets while working through a bad game.
  20. We definitely need a change at OC, but no LaPo. Should find another (reduced) role next year for Buck Pierce too, IMHO. I just can't see what he's bringing to the O. Running backs coach? Really? I don't really know how good or bad of a job Pierce is doing, but I really have to ask ... when you say "you can't see what he's bringing", what are you expecting? Weekly blog updates with meeting minutes of what he covers with the team? How would we as fans ever gather an idea of what he's doing, good or bad? He seems to be bringing Cotton along quite well and he certainly got Grigsby to improve particular facets of his game (pass protection)
  21. Keep in mind, the scouting report isn't talking about Shonn Greene now. Usually refers to the "peak" of a guy's performance when making comparisons like that.
  22. If I had to guess, I'd say she probably handles travel logistics, ensuring all players and staff have up to date schedules for travel, practice, etc, handles the per diems and just general stuff like that. But that's a total guess.
  23. Makes sense. Accumulate depth at QB to trade it away.
