  1. Unfortunate. Was for sure the guy I was hoping would grab that spot.
  2. Gotta wonder how pumped Danny Mac is that he spends all off-season scouting talent only to have Jesse Briggs, Shayne Gauthier and Jake Thomas take the bulk of reps
  3. Between Moses, Ayers and Gemmel if there’s not a replacement in there, there needs to be more competition brought in
  4. There’s absolutely zero need for it. We’re not talking about a spot injury, we’re talking about a potentially prolonged absence with the ability to have an open camp competition.
  5. If Bighill gets replaced by Gauthier in our starting lineup, that’s borderline fireable
  6. Bighill is finished. Hopefully.
  7. For sure embarrassing, but it’s pretty clearly his dad - not him
  8. Think they gotta cut 10 counters, so I’m assuming it will be mostly DB/WR
  9. Lemon probably bet the over on “games started by Shawn Lemon in 2024”, that’s why he’s back
  10. Worth putting into context: some of us have been discussing football with eachother for nearly 20 years
  11. I just think it’s weird that you want to start Jake Kelly or Miles Fox because they can “grow into” a role but you don’t want to let Kramdi “grow into” his role and you didn’t want to let Evan Holm “grow into” his role. The messaging is inconsistent and let’s be honest, it’s no different than the major beef you seem to have with O’Shea: he plays favourites. So do you, they just aren’t his favourites. At least admit it 😂
  12. how many years on Earth do I need before I talk like a robot?
  13. Hahaha honestly, with the way we’ve used that spot I’m definitely willing to give Cole a look and see if he pops off the page but Kramdi is nowhere near the biggest problem we have at LB. I’m also pretty confident he’s only going to continue to get better. He did well for what was essentially a very raw player, not coming in with the NCAA pedigree or history and I there’s still a lot left to develop there in my opinion That being said, I wouldn’t be upset with three new LB starters when week 1 hits
  14. I find it very interesting, because lots of people get caught up in our roster management (myself included) but not many people seemed to notice that Kramdi was very much a rotational guy and was subbed out a lot last year. They seem to have a pretty good plan for him and his usage and I’m happy to let them keep rolling with it. He didn’t get handed a job last year, he stole it from a trusted veteran American and he only got better as the year went on.
  15. I mean, I would imagine he’s *technically* right but someone needs to tell him that in a case like this, *technically* isn’t the side of the argument you want to be on.
  16. Really don’t get the Kramdi hate. He’s solid. Always around the ball. Does his job well. You need the reliable guys just as much as you need the flashy guys, they set the flashy guys up to make those big plays.
  17. Seems like guys for the sake of continuity, which I like. But let’s see these new guys get some opportunities. Curious to see who can step up.
  18. Is it even a mistake? There’s like one guy drafted after him that is relevant in the league and it’s Barnes who got taken almost 20 picks later
  19. if that’s the game they were playing, they would just “suspend” these guys
  20. Yeah, seems that way especially now. Or do they take that cash and sign Kongbo instead? That ship has sailed I guess, but you never know.
  21. Hamilton cut Terry Godwin That’s a surprise to me. He can be a difference maker in this league for sure. I don’t know how you afford him if you’re the Bombers, but he’ll play somewhere in this league for sure.
  22. Meh. The whole draft was terrible.
  23. Looks like you had the numbers more or less bang on, but they didn’t cut the four “no shows”, probably just suspended Fayad, DL Jordan Lewis, DL David Green, Randolph, WR Bryce Mitchell, WR Keontaye Thompson, K Jose Borregales and …. Anthony Bennett
