  1. Name one team that switched out their running back for something other than an injury or a problem with ball security.
  2. Devin Tyler, when in game shape, is a pretty serviceable OT
  3. Taman also gave them a neg list player, which people scoff at ... but it could be valuable. I would've preferred to only swap in 2016.
  4. Hefty price to pay for a team that isn't winning the Grey Cup.
  5. Why is it that you seem to be treating it that for every person that says he is tough, it ups the general opinion of how tough he is. If Noeller is the first person to say "man, Drew Willy sure is tough" and then 50 people agree with him, that doesn't suddenly mean that Noeller said "MAN, DREW WILLY COULD WRESTLE A BEAR" I haven't heard any outlandish claims. I just see a lot of people observing that he's a pretty tough son of a *****.
  6. If he was REALLY tough he'd break his own leg and then play on it just to prove a point. What a wimp.
  7. I never thought we'd get there so fast but it really sucks the way the rules are designed. Our junior players are too young to play in the AHL and too dominant to play junior. They need a solution. Perhaps special exemption status, like they do for underagers in the CHL. I don't think there's any argument to be made against the opinion that Petan and Morrissey would both be best served played on the Rock.
  8. I forgot to make my damn picks and now I'm waaaaaay out of contention
  9. Morrissey and Petan will be the prospects knocking on the door this year. Petan's size worries me but his vision is amazing.
  10. I swear Willy is as tough as nails.
  11. REMAINING M.O.A.B. (Hamilton) Duressler47 (Saskatchewan) Noeller (Hamilton) fan4life (Saskatchewan)
  12. Tino looked great. Much better game against a good Ottawa defence. He certainly didn't look GREAT. He played much better in the second half than in the first, but great? No. Good enough to beat a crappy team? Yes.
  13. Good for Tino to pull that off.
  14. You beat me to it. The block to the back was bad enough, but the roughing the kicker non call defies belief. If the Riders win this game close I hope they have the decency to not pound their chests too much.Don't worry. They're not going to win. That's showing a lot of faith in a team that has crapped their pants a lot this season. Say what you want about Ottawa, but Sunseri bought stock in Huggies.

  16. What an awful non call.
  17. Tino looks HORRIBLE
  18. Well yeah no kidding and that's not unfair of the fans to be like that either. It's not rocket appliances, I'm going to be more accepting of penalties taken by a player who actually contributes positively. As it stands right now, I bet if you looked at it and balanced out the net yards by Romby between his offensive gains and his penalties, he's likely close to being in the negative.
  19. I'd venture to say that if they had connected two or three times over this spell, talk about Bryant would be different. I wouldn't. I saw him catch that 70 yarder that got called back on a penalty and I still think he's horrible. He may have speed to burn, but he has no awareness of the ball in flight and just like the first time he was here, he shows ZERO fight for a contested throw. Couple that with stupid penalty after stupid penalty and a turnover and I have no use for him.
  20. I think he's an idiot but it's more because of his stance on players not being allowed to show any kind of individuality whatsoever while on the field. This is just typical NFL stuff.
  21. If you know OL worth bringing in as developmental projects right now, please let the club know. Let me spin this another way - when was the last time an offensive lineman who signed his first CFL contract in the month of September became anybody worth mentioning? Never.
  22. I think Brazill just threw up a gang sign LOL
  23. Picked Toronto to win. They have a lot of weapons now and have been playing tough. Looking like Ricky came to play. Just curious to see how long before Brazill fumbles.
  24. Toronto wait screw it Calgary
  25. This is one of those situations where people tend to ignore what the Bombers do and put everything else every other team does under a microscope. Are you really concerned that we didn't bring in a 25 year old offensive lineman that bounced around the CIS before going undrafted? I mean really, we just brought in two Canadians a week ago. Both as practice roster additions.
