Max Hall arrested for shoplifting and cocaine possession
Mike replied to Mr. Perfect's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
As for Wes Welker taking molly at the Kentucky Derby ... ... how did we as a society not see it coming? -
Agreed. Glad to see Suber get a chance to play. He deserves it, nothing but a class act while he was here.

Really like this trade. I like Gibson a lot, he's just been a victim of the numbers game in Toronto. Probably one of those deals you can call a win-win for each team. Gibson probably won't start here now that Vega is good to go again, but I'm glad to have him.

LOL wow -
Lost in all of this - Myddelton sucks.

He didn't stop the receiver from coming back to the ball? Okay you've officially convinced me you're just making it up now. The receiver wasn't trying to come back to the ball.
-
Also, TBURGESS, I'm a bit confused. This is now the second time this year you've come on here and been openly contrary about a certain play in a Bomber game. Both times, when you've actually describe the play, you describe it in a way that leads me to wonder if you're just arguing for the sake of arguing because quite frankly, the way you describe what happened is in no way close to actually what happened. The DB was in front of the opponent? He pushed him from behind. He wasn't in front of him for even a moment.

Uhh ... nope Just to put into perspective your comment about the Rider fans, that play was right in front of our section and even the Rider fans in that section didn't bother cheering the INT because they were expecting the PI challenge to be overturned. Most of them were expecting a call in the first place. Offsides on receivers is one thing ... EVERYBODY gets away with it. But that PI was absolute nonsense. It had no effect on the outcome of the game, but it was nonsense. As for your question if I'd want it called on the Bombers. Yeah, I would. I want it called properly and if that costs us a turnover, that's fine by me. You don't deserve a turnover you acquired illegally anyways.

I'd put an asterisk next to healthy.

I think you owe it to your team to stay in top physical condition, but to say that you need to find a way to stay injury free is just an unfair ask. This is a violent contact sport. People get hurt.
-
I believe you're dead on. If nobody knew what Nick Moore made, they'd be very happy with his performance. But because he's got the stigma of a high priced contract, even though we have very little to compare it to, we punish him for it.

As alternate jerseys, they make nice home jerseys. That's neither a compliment or an insult.

I bet the NFL paid Braley under the table to let those guys go. Slap in the face to the Argo fans... First of all, the NFL isn't paying anybody under the table for middling talents. Second of all, why is it a slap in the face? They wouldn't be recruiting those players unless they made those promises of an early release, so you have to ask yourself - would you rather have them for a shortened period of time? Or not at all?
-
He's not recognizable now but wait until Johnny Football and Lebron get their hands on him. I mean let's be honest, he may be an absolute idiot but he's also an absolutely dominant receiver. That's marketable no matter how many bong rips the guy likes to take.
-
You mean the ONE post in this thread where Bomber Diehard says cut him? Or are you suggesting that my comparison to Corey Watson equals 'hate'...? I wouldn't call your comparison "hate" but I would certainly call it ridiculous.
-
So much hate for a guy in the top 10 for receiving yards. Despite injuries. Jeez.
-
Brohm is about as much of a non question mark as you're going to find for a backup QB in the CFL, other than Drew Tate or Kevin Glenn. He's at least got age and experience that the other backups don't have.
-
Mike O'Shea says it's not serious. There you go.
-
He'll play. I'd be shocked if he didn't.
-
I get so annoyed by vague tweets and speculation like this. He went to the locker room. Maybe he has an appointment. Maybe he has to drop a log or two. Such ridiculous speculation.
-
Calgary apparently owns his CFL rights. If they are able to get him, it's an absolute joke. I think the rule should be that they're allowed to play, but you can't just change the rules midstream now. I don't think they will get him but if they do, the CFL is going to have 8 furious teams.
-
They should, but they won't.
-
How can you really apply it to a guy without a contract though? Player X has no contract, therefore is unable to serve suspension. If he is unable to serve his suspension, why should the CFL be expected to honor it? It's a catch 22 until the NFL says that the suspension clock is still ticking if you're not under contract, which it totally should. So if Brazill ever wants to play in the NFL again a team would have to sign him for year in which he couldn't play first? That is ridiculous. Both leagues need me to rewrite their suspension rules. The caveat is that all these suspensions are subject to review, so technically the NFL could lift the ban after a year even if he wasn't under contract, but I don't believe they're legally obligated to.
