  1. Do you even follow the NHL? This post suggests no.
  2. The true answer is there is more than one answer. Not every draft class is evaluated and discussed with the same variables in mind, because no draft class is the same. Sometimes there is a consensus. Sometimes there isn't. Sometimes you can trade up/down your board for value. Sometimes you can't. Sometimes you draft for need. Sometimes you draft the best player available. And in amongst all these variables, you also have to factor in that you're building 9 different draft profiles per draft class because there are 9 different teams. The 2015 draft class, although very early, seems to be a class where I personally would not specifically target an offensive lineman because the class appears deep with them. Beyond Danny Groulx, Sukh Chungh, Sean McEwen, Karl Lavoie and David Beard, it also appears to be a deep deep class of offensive lineman in the NCAA. Dillon Guy, Josiah St. John and Brett Boyko all have to factor in as they'll be NCAA seniors in 2014. It's so difficult to be sure on CIS eligibility but I'm fairly certain guys like Charles Vaillancourt, Winston Miles, Aaron Picton and Manitoba Bison Alex McKay are all draft eligible in 2015 as well. Now consider that there are a lot of attractive skill position players out there for teams to look at - Nic Demski, Lemar Durant, Bobby Pospischil, Shaq Murray-Lawrence, Addison Richards as well as guys like Daniel English (maybe?) and Mehdi Abdesmad factoring into the draft ... Of course, we have 10 months to sort out NFL interest, eligibility, who has a stock rise and drop, etc. But right now, the draft seems VERY deep and part of that is the rich OL talent.
  3. No kidding. Any excuse to **** on the poor guy.
  4. Numbers wise, yeah. Arm doesn't look great in the highlight vid. But who knows how old some of that footage is. He could easily have improved. I trust the scouts. The first player I thought of after I saw his iffy/wonky release on some of those throws and the way he scrambles around is Collaros.
  5. I would expect you'll see him added to our PR in the coming days. University of San Diego product, NCAA Division 1-AA quarterback ... was the Pacific Football League (the name of the conference he plays in) MVP in 2013. Very solid numbers.
  6. Not even travelling. I'm assuming playing last week made his heel contusion worse.
  7. I wouldn't go after an offensive lineman in the first round unless they clearly separate themselves more as a primary tier vs. the second tier.
  8. Where on earth is Lemar Durant Oh, nevermind, apparently in the wording, it says it's CIS only.
  9. Scenario: O'Shea: So Gerome, you're a big strong guy and I understand you'd like to contribute to our specials teams? Messam: It's Jerome with a J now gimme the rock or I'm going to Fatburger O'Shea: That worked out well.
  10. Ya that's better... then we need to add another Nat'l on the roster (DB Alexander) as another backup. Can't be an Int'l since all DI position has been filled up. how do you figure i based it on the fact that Alexander haven't played a regular season game yet while Sears played 2 already, aside from the fact that Alexander is coming from injury. Also, his play on the Safety position (Esks) are not that good (according to some). That's just my opinion though. I meant how do you figure we have to add a Canadian if an American comes off the roster.

  12. Johnny Sears, move Sherman to the LB spot.
  13. Oh, *this* comment. Our third string running back is averaging over 100+ yards from scrimmage a game and just had 3 majors, the guy we're talking about doesn't play special teams and ... you think it's a bad decision?
  14. Thanks for posting this here I've already got my spot and room booked but the rest of you should get signed up ASAP this is literally the best trip of the year. Plus, this year we leave on my birthday.
  15. Hoping they don't switch anything, I'm in LA that week and I wanted an easy way to watch the game.
  16. Did you see this: @CFL_News: By the way, the #CFL has changed their criteria from head shots being soley to the head to being above the shoulder. Thus the Willis fine. . Yeah. So I agree with the fine, I suppose, but I don't agree with people calling it a head shot.
  17. Week 2 CFL.ca Power Rankings http://cfl.ca/article/cflca-power-rankings-eskimos-enter-top-half 1. Calgary 2. Saskatchewan 3. Toronto 4. Edmonton 5. Winnipeg 6. Montreal 7. Hamilton 8. BC 9. Ottawa
  18. I still maintain that Willis didn't hit Collaros in the head.
  19. I don't know where I can disagree with these. I'd maybe have mix up the top 3 but that's all opinion at this point.
  20. Tim Cheatwood is an assistant coach for the Cleveland team. He actually came out of retirement in 2010 and played 4 years in the AFL. Wow.
  21. I thought the eastern division in the CFL was bad. Check this out. Arizona Rattlers 14-1-0 4-0-0 LA KISS 3-12-0 1-2-0 San Antonio Talons 1-14-0 0-3-0
  22. I still think Greg Carr could earn a job in this league. NeverForgetGregCarr
  23. Exactly. Federkeil makes Calgary more dangerous, gives them options with an import elsewhere.
