Some Argo we've never heard of has a huge game
Could you elaborate? I don't understand.I have a feeling this is a ripe situation for somw nobody to make a name for himself against us.
Because Derek Jones got a start? Possible...
Because that seems to be what always happens to us. All the stars align for us to have what should be a rollover game and then we get destroyed by the present day Rocky Butler.

I would think Goossen and Unamba ...but Cotton wouldn't surprise me either.
The T.O. defence does not look scary at all, Grigsby just might buy himself a few more games with a good performance this week.
This idea occurred to me too ... Hinse may provide more than Goossen can right at this very moment. But I'm not sure. Toss up, probably a tougher decision than we think.

I also suggested Unamba (before Mike did) and I still think that's what will happen. Just throwing another option out there to discuss.
You've obviously seen more Stoudermire than I have, and it sounds like you're quite high on him. But O'Shea coming from the special teams pedigree he has, you would think that Woods' spot looks pretty secure right now. As Mike suggested, Unamba's probably a better 2-man reserve candidate than Woods.
I agree with you but that doesn't mean the coaching staff is thinking the same way we are.
I'm hoping we've learned our lesson on Woods, and that he plays. We need his reliability on teams.Just a thought, but I'm wondering if we see Woods inactive in order to get Stoudermire on the active roster?
lol is this a competition or something? I've noticed you do stuff like this a lot.
No competition just stating the facts. I know some posters on here have a man-crush on you so they only read your posts. Kinda funny actually.
Pretty sure nobody "only" reads my posts, they sure wouldn't get any value out of this forum by doing that. But hey, I'll be sure to check before sharing an opinion from now on, that way I can state you mentioned it first if applicable and you can have the meaningless recognition you seem to want.

I'm not as worried as some, but I'm still worried.
That being said, a group of offensive weapons comprised of Mo Mann, Spencer Watt, Terrell Sinkfield, Steve Slaton, Darvin Adams and whoever Booby Gill is does not scare me. Neither does their offensive or defensive line and while we are beat up, we are healthy where it matters most - in the trenches and at quarterback.

Chad Johnson would probably be doing a lot better if he had Ricky Ray throwing him the football.

Expecting Unamba to take a seat.

If Toronto (or Winnipeg, since apparently that's a possibility as well) goes with the logo on the front and the numbers on the shoulder ... well, I'll laugh my ass off.

I was in the huddle.
I've never admitted this to anyone before.
I'm Steve Morley.

Well they are onto the right idea but they don't look like that exactly. It's a lot of blue and white camo and I cant remember seeing much gold. With the helmets, pants and gloves they might look pretty good. It's hard to say really.

Generally accurate. The sleeve detail is colored appropriately, but the pattern isn't like that. If what I've seen is the sleeve, that is.

Those trade proposals are bizarre at best.
Swiston for Westerman ... now let's just be clear here - Westerman has low value. He's not going to sign an extension in all likelihood, he wants to try the NFL and his deal is up at the end of the season, so you're valuing him at whatever you think between 11-14 games of him is worth. Not a lot, but Swiston has zero value as a trade asset. He's on his second contract, so he's likely not as cheap as other players who can equal his production.
Suber for Tim Brown ... there's win-win and then there are just make believe trades that make no sense. This is the latter. Suber is good, but where does he fit on a BC secondary? He's not replacing Ronnie Yell, that's for sure.

Hipster jerseys.

It's actually ... not bad. The green face mask is awful, but it's not as over the top as I thought it'd be.

Wouldn't expect anybody back.
Fingers crossed for Cotton.

Yeah, I'm not sure why Carl Fitzgerald wasn't more involved.
Bellefeuille's gameplan doesn't always seem to match the opponent.

Somebody on Twitter tweeted me a picture of the August 22 game pin. It's got a sneak peek of the jersey, sort of. They're gross looking.
I'd post it but I don't know how from my phone.

Looks like I was right...Hinse has been activated from the 6 game IR.
Very interesting. Good call.
-
It might be something weird. Last I heard they were toying with a digital camo military themed look.

Gord Hinse is now practicing. Guess he's been activated off the 6 game IR.
You can practice two weeks prior to being activated. I'd be shocked if they activated him early.

He's a hell of an athlete, it just takes a lot more than that to be a running back.
I still say he's got a spot in this league, but I'd move him to a Durie type role. Durie was an athletic running back who couldn't break initial contact before he became a stud receiver too.
