I try not to read too much into receivers playing well in the preseason. Our leading receivers the last three preseasons have been Trevor Kennedy, Doug Pierce, Perry Floyd and Josh Bishop.

Walby said Bombers have to fish or cut bait on Pencer. Guy has two massive knee supports plus a bum shoulder. Another busted Joe Mack pick. Tarver is just training camp fodder/garbage. Should be cut today or tomorrow. Cory Watson is a solid WR w/ blocking potential but Walby said how many more games (or years) can the team wait until the guy plays regularly. Miss him as a secondary blocker as this current o-line is putrid, Just putrid. I suspect Walters will drag along with Watson thru most of this season and make decision at end of year. Brohm should be given the broom. Another brokedown NFL hobo. Have to disagree with you on the offensive line. Aside from the bit where we had Stevenson and Pencer manning the right side while Brohm was in, the offensive line looked pretty strong last night

We also have a few new players out there according to the Jumbotron. Steve Upon Morris Nicked Greg Bee I can't even imagine what it said when Feoli Gudino scored.

I liked WIlly, Urrutia, Cotton, Marve, Kemp, Bruce Johnson, Bucknor ... Didn't like Tarver at all. Didn't like Brohm, Jaymar Johnson, Pencer either

Willy played a lot better than his numbers indicate, I'll say that much.

I think it says a lot about our locker room that while Foley, Mo Price and the rest of them are babbling away on Twitter about not being able to afford their groceries, our team is doing things like giving away tickets and apparel to fans.

It says Goossen plays center and Pencer doesn't. Just by sheer expectations of the position, Pencer would take longer to develop than Goossen. That being said, I'm still leaning towards the bust label on Pencer if he can't make strides this year.

Oz was really interesting. Very good cast. For a series as old as it is, I'd say it was ahead of its time a bit. I'll let you decide for yourself as far as the storyline goes, but they did a good job with that IMO.

My girlfriend has been watching Orange is the New Black and I've been thinking about getting into it. Seems like my kind of show. Last couple of series I watched were Sons of Anarchy (twice) and I actually went and downloaded Oz too, even though it's old. Stuff like Game of Thrones isn't for me, I'm not a big fantasy fan.

Ryan Lucas is done for the year, why are we even bothering?

Nobody hits a home run every time. Could Walters have done better? Sure. But some things are beyond control. All in all, he's done pretty well up to this point. Not perfect, but hey, not many GMs have a perfect offseason.

I think O'Shea is just throwing that out there to try to get the NI's to step up. I've seen this as his plan from the beginning. When have we ever brought in import competition at guard and center? There is no way the Bombers can actually afford, ratio wise, to have 3 import olinemen. It's just a matter of which two positions on the line will have imports. Definitely LT, maybe RG, maybe RT. That's why it is so baffling that so many imports are getting the bulk of the practice time...? Have you been to a camp session this year?
