Former NFL back ... nearly a 1000 rusher at one point ... several 100 yard games ... style of running very well suited to CFL ... still only 27

I like this. A lot.

Totally out of context.

Some new players and where you guys think they might fit in 2014
Mike replied to IC Khari's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Tate, Leggett, Johnson are my big 3 on D for new imports -
Sears or Washington. Maybe one of the new guys. I thought they wanted that to be a Canadian spot? I always thought it would be Alexander at Safety with Bucknor at Field Corner. But If Alexander is better at Corner hopefully Newman can really step up and be a good safety for us. I just can't see two Canadians in the secondary. I see it as 4 OL, 2 REC, 1 rotating on D

Important notice regarding the future of MBB.com
Mike replied to Mike's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
That's actually an interesting idea. Personally I don't pay attention to email but some may definitely find value in that. Anyone else? -

'Overpaying' is just referring to how Taman's move to get Craig Butler was portrayed... basically, you have a chance to get your guy and ditch two picks to move up. Briggs was one of the guys I was hoping would be around for our second pick - not a shot at Walters at all. We finally have a GM who is acting like a CFL GM. The Butler pick was lucky more than anything, they were going to take Hugh O'Neill but Buono got him a pick earlier. Got him mixed up with Hurl... I think that's who Taman traded up for - anyway, Walters still reminds me of Taman. The only similarity between the two is that they are both GM's Well, that was one major difference between Taman and Mack... I'll give you that. The big difference is that if Taman would have traded a former first round pick NI REC for an import QB, everyone would have been screaming for his head. Can't operate in a vacuum like that.

Was down on my work computer all day

I would definitely bring in Koch for a situation where Goossen isn't ready day one

In just a few weeks, it will be the one year anniversary of the launch of MorningBigBlue.com. It's hard to believe that a site we scrambled to piece together in time for the 2013 training camp has evolved into what we see today in less than a full calendar year. Quickly, I just wanted to give a thanks to all of our members for your contributions and for how easy you make it on the staff here. What we envisioned for this site would not have been possible without everyone pitching in to do their part, so thank you very much on behalf of all of our administrators and moderators. With our one year anniversary just around the corner, the staff has been working and will continue to work to provide everybody with an improved experience at MBB.com as we move into the 2014 season and beyond. The first thing we'd like to announce is that we have added Jpan85 to the moderation team. Joey put in a ton of work last year to help us run contests and he will continue that in a more "official" role this year. In case you don't know, Joey will also be raising the 13th man flag at the 2014 home opener which is an awesome (and well-deserved) honor. Maybe if we're lucky, we can print up a MBB shirt and get ourselves some free advertising. Without going into too many more details, the efforts of everybody here have put us in a position to really improve the quality of what we can offer our members this year. To give you guys a preview, we'll see the return of a handful of the contests we ran last year as well as the introduction of a new weekly contest (one I'm personally excited to run) open to all forum members. Not only that, but we are proud to say that we will be able to offer prizes to all of our contest winners this year. Full details will be released on those contests plus much more on the official one year anniversary. As always, if anybody has any suggestions or recommendations, feel free to share them with us. We're always looking for feedback on how we can improve the site, whether it be with contest ideas, ways to generate better content for you, forum add-ons you'd like to see, whatever. Thanks again on behalf of all of us. - The MorningBigBlue.com Team.

How does this money diversion scheme work? I'm not following. I could be wrong, but I think it's all about directing page views. Someone with more knowledge of how it works can probably correct me, but on websites, every view of a page with an ad on it = money. More page views = more money, so if a website is basically directing traffic to visit another website, it's all about creating as many page views as possible to maximize revenue. That's not the deal I was offered, but I think that's how what TUP is referring to works.

some of you actually may have a case for this "he thinks he's a big deal" thing if I was posting my "scoops" for my own personal benefit. What I'm really attempting to do is pitch in on the development of the MBB site and since I'm useless at pretty much everything related to website development, sharing information early and trying to get us on the map for a place people can go for breaking Bomber news is where I try and contribute. Cory is right though, I used to flaunt it a bit more when I was immature and thought it was "cool" to have inside sources within the organization, but I've said for a long time now that I don't have any connections to the club anymore, I just have a routine of digging for information that turns up something worth sharing once in a while. Considering I turned down money from "another website" in exchange for handing over everything I learn in order to continue trying to do what I can to develop this one for all of us, I wouldn't say I think I'm a big deal at all. ... just waiting for somebody to post a "U MAD?" gif now.
-
Where do you hear of all these players before everyone else? He doesn't...he just likes everyone to think he's a really big deal... I knew you were going to say that before you even said it, I heard about you posting it last week.
-
I'm looking forward to Moseley, been waiting for them to make that one official.
-
where do you think he will be slotted ? as DE or LB ? DE
-
Just a prediction, but I really think Kenny Tate is a rookie that cracks our starting lineup this year. He's exactly the type of player Etch likes.
-
Interesting decisions ... I don't see how much of it makes sense though. -- 4 non imports on the offensive line and you still want to gamble with a rookie safety that we drafted as a linebacker? Even if you did want a non-import safety, why not Newman? -- Hard to believe we wouldn't start Kohlert. -- You're missing a designated import.
-
As a center? Not really.
-
k wow. Locked.
-
Alright so like ... let's try to keep it on track and stuff in here. Locking it is in the cards if the conversation keeps devolving.

Why would Wally not just wait Desjardins out?
Mike replied to IC Khari's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
It was a brilliant pick. -
Four designated imports now. Also, if we have two import OL, where's the other Canuck?
-
It makes sense, then you use one of your new imports (Leggett, Johnson, whoever) as the DI and you're set. Sears or Washington at safety, either one is a great option.

DOES QUINN SMITH EVEN WANT TO ENTER LIFE?
