Back to the NFL?
@MikeSimsWalker: Possible RT @54pesosSODMG: @MikeSimsWalker you heading back to the NFL! Turn up
Possible as in he wishes.

Kind of weird that they did this so late? Its to bad we lost Miles and kept him.
we didn't protect him in the expansion draft if that's what you were suggesting.
-
Why no threads created about the signing last week then?Really like both of these signings. I knew about Gatling about a week ago but Leggett is another welcome addition - the year he won KC's ROTY award, he beat out two top 15 picks in that draft class (Glenn Dorsey and Branden Albert)
I just didn't really get around to it.
Ok Colin LOL
Just been working on plugging the Twitter account lately more than posting here.
MorningBigBlue @MorningBigBlue 6d
Add this name to the list of unannounced recruits by the #Bombers: DE Stafford Gatling (6'4", 250) formerly of Ohio U and the NY Jets. #CFL
Think it was the same day they cut Boatman.

No surprise there.

Makes our coaching staff look good.

My wife says that "hard and fast" is not always the best.
What does she say about accuracy?
Just not in the face.
-
Pass speed is basically one of those meaningless statistics.
Interesting read though.
I disagree that speed is not important. We often talk about QBs having 'zip' on the ball. It helps to prevent interceptions if you have some speed and accuracy, which it looks like Willy has. Hall is accurate but has no speed on his throws beyond 10-12 yards.
Having speed on your throws doesn't make someone a good QB, but if can help.
I guess what I should've said is that the FASTEST pass speed is meaningless. I agree you need to throw fast, as that article mentions, if you're under 54 mph you're basically given no chance in the NFL. Who throws the fastest is just a fun blurb stat, though.

Sure, you have to throw hard and fast to be any good. But looking through that list, it's a list of NFL nobodies other than Kaep.
Interesting read though.

I don't like this new Ottawa franchise and it has nothing to do with Burris or Desjardins or anybody else in their football ops.
It is 110% because some dummy decided it'd be a good idea to call them the Redblacks. And then if that wasn't bad enough, somebody else said "hey, you know what'd be cool? If we YELLED IT EVERYTIME!"

I don't think I've ever seen a CFL team take so long to name all of its coaches like this one. And it was a struggle to sign all of them almost. It's like they have to lie, cheat & steal to get guys to come here. Wow.
There have been two this season alone.

I'm fan with him being an ambassador. Tremendous guy, who is pretty much well-liked by anyone who's met him.
Coach? No thanks.
Just out of curiosity ... why?
Doesn't strike me as cerebral enough to coach.
How cerebral must one be for a QC role?

Do you guys think this is a game or something?
This is a legitimate concern.
Ranks right up there with not enough raisins in Raisin Brand and the lack of cashews in mixed nuts.
Welcome to a day in my life.
Or how about when Reese's made the size of peanut butter cups smaller and expected nobody to notice?
I didn't notice. Then again, this thread makes it clear where my priorities lie.

As far as invites to the national combine go, I'm willing to bet they hand out a few OL invitations. My best guesses would be kicker Johnny Mark, DB RJ Cornish, kicker Zack Medeiros, and linemen Tchissakid Player, Tyson Carter and maybe Keegan Schneider get invites. Maybe a couple of the Regina boys too.

You have me curious now Mike, I'll have to get a box and a bag of BBQ chips after work. Does the bag flavour have less of a kick than the box?
It's an entirely different taste altogether.
The box flavor is an original, unique, rich, appetizing, glorious flavor.
The bag tastes like ... generic BBQ flavor
