  1. Drew Edwards thinks Winnipeg offered more money than Hamilton.
  2. So you figure it's accurate that he made roughly 100k a start? I don't have any sources to verify anything but logic dictates that Troy Smith probably has a contract in the range of typical backup wages.
  3. Yeah no doubt. Cam Cole? Sorry I'm not buying it.Of course. Mike knows more than the National Post. Why am I not surprised. You are never wrong (in your own mind that is).See aboveI guess this time I did.
  4. Cam cole quoted his 2012 NFL salary it's an error in the article
  5. Smith made $400k last season. Sure he did. Probably time to stop making things up.
  6. I still think we have a shot. He's obviously not opposed to coming here.
  7. Nelson Martin and Gary Etcheverry? Henry Burris? I'm starting to lose interest. And it's not even February.
  8. Ottawa is an incredibly unattractive destination for Collaros.
  9. Holy moly.
  10. Having a non import dimeback could be a big time boost to our roster IF he can fill that role
  11. Somebody on the Rider forum made a good point in that letting Collaros go now clarifies the FA picture so that while Toronto may not get anything for him, they may take another team out of the hunt for some of the guys they've targeted if money gets tied up in Collaros.
  12. To me, this is a good replacement for Dan West. Definite upgrade there. I could have predicted this reaction but hey, we wanted experience and we wanted Canadian depth. This is both of those things.
  13. Interesting. I liked Aprile.
  14. He hasn't. As per the thread title, Collaros was released. i mean if walters traded for his rights earlier like weeks ago, then argos release him. What? If Walters traded for his rights, he wouldn't be Toronto's to release. I said 'rights to speak' to him just like Reed did to Reilly That's not what you get when you trade for the "rights to speak" You inherit the contract. Not just the right to talk to them. You can't trade the ability to make a phone call.

  16. Every single one of them got promotions. I don't think there's any conspiracy or turmoil that led to their departure, I think it's just a simple matter of career planning.
  17. If Burris is not going to make us a contender why even bother
  18. Or you could just, you know ... not be such a whiner when someone replies to your strongly worded opinion with strong words. Whiner? Whatever you think, dude, You don't reply. Look in a mirror before you criticize anyone else. Not sure what you're getting at. All I'm saying is your opinions come across as very matter of fact and concrete, but whenever anyone replies to you with the same tone, you go off on this tangent like the one that starts this string of quotes. I don't know why you choose to get all up in arms about it, I'm not attacking you, I'm just replying to you in the exact same tone. At the end of the day, this is the internet. You need to just relax a smidge.
  19. Garrett runs angry. Simpson runs angry. Ford does not run angry.

  21. Let's not all forget that we got a 3rd rounder in exchange for a 5th rounder in that trade.
  22. Why? Because you say so? lol I don't get why you feel like when someone else has a point they're making, you're the first one to demand source materials or some kind of proof but you just think it's okay that your argument can be "because I say so" Burris isn't hitting free agency because he's a hot commodity that will instigate a bidding war. If he hits free agency, it's because the team that had him doesn't want him. It's the same as with any player who is declined an offer by their old team. They don't hit the open market with much, if any, leverage to command whatever they want.
  23. I don't necessarily think that's true. Where's his leverage?
  24. Must still be in the hunt for Bob Wylie, as disappointing as that is.
