lol it just annoys me. If you're going to steal information I've tweeted out hours ago, you could at least either a) give credit where credit is due or b ) get your facts straight.
I wouldn't expect credit if I was posting it on my personal account, but posted on our website's Twitter? Come on now.

Here comes the Winnipeg media to butcher the facts on this guy as usual.
No investigative efforts whatsoever.
Careful, you'll get blocked
Seriously. Is this real life right now? How bad can a reporter be?
Paul Wiecek @PaulWiecek 12m
RB Travon Jones (5-8, 171), who played for Sacramento State in 2012, has tweeted the Bombers have invited him to training camp. #bn

@PaulWiecek he hasn't played for Sac State since 2007, Paul

If I had to guess regarding DI spots, I'd guess we use one on a guy who can be an offensive skill player / returner, one on a DL and one on a hybrid LB/DB type.

Don't mind the additional competition at NI Safety, or a depth DB, but just wish Alexander was more of a special teams ace. Depth DB's need to be special teams aces.
That's exactly my concern about it. How does he fit on the roster? I don't expect him to end up starting at safety for us and if he's not starting, why put him on the 42 if he's not a solid ST guy?

I'm glad we have a QB coach, but I'd have prefered one who is a little younger and who has some CFL experience.
Just curious ... who did you have in mind?
-
I'm not sure how I feel about that ... but it sure is interesting.
-
He worked the last number of years as a "special consultant" ... sounds familiar
He's a prep coach for QBs entering college or the NFL. A lot like what Marc Trestman does during his offseasons. He just does it all year round.
Dahlquist has worked with recent QBs like Marcus Mariota, Zach Mettenberger and Tajh Boyd. He also helped prep Terrell Pryor for the NFL.

Ted Laurent telling teams he won't make a decision until after the NFL Draft ... so 3 months.
as long as, Walters is willing to engage in bidding when that happens, thats ok
It will be tough ... he lives in Montreal, so they have a leg up. He'll have lots of interested teams.

Also worth noting, he's been the QB coach at every NCAA job he's ever held.

Offensive assistant at Idaho State from 1968-1970
Offensive assistant at Utah from 1971-1973.
Offensive assistant at Oregon in 1974.
Offensive coordinator at Oregon from 1975-1976.
Offensive coordinator at Boise State from 1977-1982.
Offensive coordinator at Iowa State from 1983-1986.
Offensive coordinator at Illinois from 1987-1989
Offensive coordinator at Texas from 1992-1997.
Passing game coordinator and QB coach at UNLV in 1999.
Head coach of Scottish Claymores (NFLE) from 2001-2003

This seems like a very interesting hire. He's old ... 71 years old ... but he's got a TON of NCAA OC experience at big name schools.
-
As per Darren Cameron.
-
Crazy that I saw him at the wedding social last night about ten minutes before he left and then he comes home to that.

Is this discussion really happening right now?

Used to be a big PJ fan. Not anymore.

Undersized ... Penn State ...
Should announce his signing some time next week

According to Rod Pederson, 4 teams have made offers to Jock Sanders. I wonder if the Bombers are one of those 4 teams?
He'd likely command a salary in the $120k range but he is extremely versatile; he's a RB, SB, KR and PR. Only 26 years old.
Is that what Pederson said?
No. Those are my thoughts. Why?
Seems way high for a guy that isn't going to play more than about 30% of your offensive snaps.

I was really hoping to hear your opinion on Shannon Boatman just because I think it'd be hilarious to see you break his game down.
There's really no coincidence the guy shares the same initials as "speed bump"
Bombers add RB Travon Jones

I wouldn't expect to find any accurate or relevant scouting reports, this guy is 27 years old and hasn't played meaningful football in almost 7 years. I'm not even 100% convinced that he's signed a contract.
