I think one thing that was proven correct ... Ottawa is sure staying away from free agents as far as imports go. Or else they're just terrible at drafting.

If I was Winnipeg, I wouldn't be trying to trade for competition for Collaros. The big selling point we have over other teams at the moment is that he would be the clear cut starter. Start acquiring pieces to compete with him and all of a sudden, we're no different than Hamilton or Montreal.

If Miles was unprotected, I doubt Kelly was protected. I would've rather lost Kelly, to be honest. Makes me wonder who they DID protect though. If I had to guess, I would bet they protected quite a few guys on the DL

I'm still not convinced Ottawa doesn't take Collaros. The only reason I think they pass is because they can't afford to give Toronto AND Calgary the option to protect more Canadians and I can't see them passing on one of Glenn or Tate. I think you might be taking "left for Winnipeg" a bit too literally. I don't think he actually means Stubler physically travelled to Winnipeg. And if he does, even then it doesn't necessarily mean anything.

You think a new head coach & GM is going to turn the skeptics around??? The Bombers are still considered a joke outside Winnipeg. In Calgary, the media here calls the Bombers dysfunctional. They are described as having no credibility. Whenever the discussion gets to the Bombers with the Calgary media & media from other CFL cities it's a real yuk yuk fest when they talk about the Bombers. I've heard interviews with the media here talking to commentators from Montreal all across to BC over the past couple of years slagging Winnipeg. I hate listening to that **** but that's the reality Mike, whether you insult me or not. So you mean the Calgary media then. You do know I can read newspapers from ... outside of Winnipeg, right?
