  1. Clercius does really feel like an Edmonton pick here
  2. If we get a couple out of Clercius, Wallace, Brubacher, Benedet … I’d be pumped
  3. Love them taking Nkanu too. Zero interest in him as well.
  4. Sick analysis by Farhan “These guys know how to do draft”
  5. Brubacher or Wallace come on
  6. Happy Una went, zero interest in him
  7. Honestly gimme a more talented guy that will be available for 2025
  8. 3 outta 5 just put me on the panel
  9. gotta be Mital here I’d rather have Hergel maybe than some special teams guy probably
  10. This is legit a painful pace
  11. I’m pretty sure he was going top five in every situation
  12. Two out of three I am the mock king
  13. Global players impact players pick one lol all this talk about these guys like we have MBB posters scouting the German leagues for talent we know nothing about 99% of these guys and we’re talking about how we passed on impact players
  14. 4.96 time on the 40 yard dash … tell me no one’s ever taught you how to run it without telling me
  15. Global draft came and went We drafted LB Fabian Weitz (University of Buffalo / Cologne) who looks like he could be Thiadric’s younger brother and DB Lucky Ogbeveon (Tirol) who spent a bit of time in the NFL Pathway program
  16. My mock (aka the best mock ever aka I’m bored on the toilet) 1. Dublanko to EDM 2. Dumoulin-Duguay to OTT 3. Hergel to SSK 4. Cantin-Arku to CGY 5. Mital to TOR 6. Brubacher to BC 7. Mardner to HAM 8. Wallace to WPG 9. Labrosse to MTL
  17. Hergel didn’t get drafted, signed with New Orleans. I hope that’s enough to drop him to us.
  18. So in order to strengthen the game … you want to take what? 60 collegiate football players and somehow convince them to dedicate themselves to the game of football for half the regular salary, they don’t get to travel with the team to learn about what it’s like to be a pro on the road, they don’t get to make a living wage and they basically just get to what? Become special teams crash test dummies because they’re already the bottom of the totem pole as far as athletic talents go (otherwise they would hold a better spot on the roster) and their development is being accelerated at half the pace of their teammates?
  19. I’m curious how we use our DI spots this year. Do we have a single one of our regular DI guys from last year signed currently?
  20. Specific but different reasons. KJ Hill has a very very similar profile to Austin Mack which is an exciting thought. As far as Waggoner, any Iowa defender is going to pique my interest plus all the academic and coaches selection awards in college give him a big “O’Shea guy” type feel. Fuller I followed on the Bills roster a bit and he’s a long rangy shutdown corner type, could be a productive guy up here if he picks up the nuances well enough. Lua is SUPER young (22) and didn’t even go through the NFL draft process, but he’s a versatile defender that could play a lot of different roles on our D. Finally, Woods is a guy they’ve had neg-listed for quite some time - couple that with them usually having a good eye for the DT types they like and I’m interested to see him in camp.
  21. For whatever reason, I feel like I’d really lost sight of how many interesting prospects the Bombers brought in this off-season. Not too worried about the massive amounts of WR or DB, that’ll sort itself out with reps but I do appreciate some of these names … real high calibre guys being brought up here. 5 names to watch in my obviously incredibly educated opinion: WR KJ Hill, DE John Waggoner, DT Jamal Woods, DB Travon Fuller, DB Juan Lua Bonus name, I think it’s a foregone conclusion he’s QB3: Eric Barriere Bonus name if Janarion Grant doesn’t come back: WR Aron Cruickshank
  22. I’ll give credit where credit is due. I think he’s off in a few places, but I don’t see a ton to criticize with his 2.0 mock.
