  1. CFL’s leading tackler in 2021, LB Darnell Sankey agrees to terms with Saskatchewan Roughriders as per Dunk
  2. Lawler is awesome and I’m very sad to see him go, but we also shouldn’t be competing with those kinds of offers. He’ll probably have a great year and I hope he does. We can’t replace him, but maybe we luck out and find a solid receiver in camp and sign an Ellingson type to bridge the gap a bit.
  3. Let’s just say there is some truth to what he is saying. Would none of this potentially fall on Harris? If he asks for too much, when everyone else is giving up a little here and there, the Bombers what? Owe it to him to give in? Why?
  4. Of course it’s the media making a mountain out of a molehill
  5. 250k for Deon Lacey LMAOOOOOO Zero interest in Nevis whatsoever
  6. Doesn’t really say a whole lot given that the legal tampering period is over
  7. Agreed. They still need to make some noise in other areas, but that’s a lot of good talent coming in. I’m really bummed we couldn’t make a play for Acklin.
  8. Hearing some word that Harris may be headed to the worst place imaginable
  9. Who needs elite DBs when you can have Duron Carter
  10. I’d honestly rather have Ellingson than Derel Walker. Or pretty much anyone left. I was hoping to see us get Acklin or Weineke, and obviously I’m writing Lawler off and would rather we bring him back than any of them but yeah … I’m a fan of Ellingson. Dude was 8th in the league in receiving last year. Wouldn’t be opposed to a dude like Josh Huff either
  11. Am I taking crazy pills? What would be upsetting about swapping Adams for Ellingson? I love me some Darvin, but Ellingson can still go. He had 68.7 yards per game last year with some absolute dogshit quarterbacking. Adams had around two thirds of that with league best QB play. I would be happy to see us sign Ellingson. Ellingson, Bailey, Demski, Wolitarsky and a rookie like Agudosi or Blake Jackson? Sign me up.
  12. I do find it weird, also important to note the legal tampering period is over.
  13. I wonder if you see us try and get someone like Ellingson as a veteran or if we’re just prepared to make Bailey the vocal leader of this group and roll with two rookies.
  14. You’re the man Booch but you are 10000000% bashing because he’s a Rider 😆
  15. I don’t know why we’re shitting on Duke’s performance. That’s a 1300 yard pace. He’s one hell of a receiver.
  16. True. Looking forward to Bailey in year 3 a LOT but he’s basically the only receiver these guys have to their credit.
  17. Yeah I mean after all, we’ve had such great success bringing in receivers. I will never say anything negative about Walters’ body of overall work, but this regime has proven by now that they can’t find receivers to save their life.
  18. Micah Johnson isn’t a huge loss, but Purifoy leaving creates a void. They’re going to be a very young team next year, they’ve got some pieces here and there but they’ve having trouble retaining guys and you don’t hear them in on a lot of players either. One of two things is happening. Either the machine in Regina is doing a very good job of making sure their plans don’t leak to the media or the Riders aren’t a desirable team to play for anymore. Money still talks but they used to be able to sell players on the atmosphere, the fans, the building, the program and it looks like a lot of that goodwill is gone.
  19. They’re not going to be able to afford to do that.
  20. This is laughable. Come on man. I’m a huge Andrew Harris guy. Turned this whole franchise around for us. Ring of Honour, Hall of Fame, statue out front of IGF, do it all for the guy. He deserves that and so much more. He’s also more or less finished. He’s at the end of a great career. Does he have something left in the tank? I don’t doubt it for a second, but there’s a reason the great teams are the teams that are a year early on these decisions instead of a year late. Harris is going to be 35 at the start of camp, he could barely practice last year, he’s becoming progressively more and more beat up and he can’t really be a full time back anymore. Had a hell of a run in the playoffs after taking a huge chunk of the year off and having a year off before that to heal up. How is it going to work for him when he doesn’t have the benefit of those variables? I hope we find a way to keep him, but he’s not the pulse of this offence anymore. He didn’t suit up for us for more than 4 games in a row last year. His playoff run was extraordinary, but let’s be honest with what it was. Those are conditions where you have to pound the rock and Hamilton/Saskatchewan were both missing good pieces of their run stopping D. He was coming off a ton of rest. That can’t be a long term solution for us and we have to look to keep this team together in ways where it leads to sustainable success. A 35 year old running back who probably doesn’t want to take the pay cut we’d need him to take may just not be an answer for us.
  21. What was this in reference to? Tweet seems gone
  22. It’s inefficient spending to bring back all three, if you ask me. Unless Harris takes a HUGE shave.
  23. Pleasant surprise but I would assume this must mean a pending Harris retirement or Oliviera signing elsewhere.
  24. Bailey signed, as per Dunk HUGE
  25. Who is Argula If we don’t keep Lawler (which I don’t expect us to), I hope we get Weineke or Acklin.
