He can probably be found for cheap

Hi
-
I mean ... they could do a proper rebuild. This just seems silly though. Unless their scouts can find an entirely brand new wealth of depth. Giving almost a million dollars away for the combination of Matt Nichols, TJ Jones and Davaris Daniels is ridiculous.
-
Lots of deals to be had out there.
-
They for sure have the cash. Could see it. But I mean really, they lost their interior DL presence and their OL depth. If they want to stack themselves at receiver with Evans, Walker, Moore and JWL then go ahead. It’s an exciting recipe but not a winning one.

There’s no way Larry Dean got only 110. I’d cut Bighill tomorrow and sign Larry for 125
-
I wholeheartedly agree. He's a "splash" because he's Canadian, but he'd be just as flashy of a signing as a guy like Ardarius Stewart or Travis Rudolph otherwise.
-
The problem is, for every player they gained, they seem to have lost one. They gained Davaris Daniels, they lost SJ Green. They gained Juwan Brescacin, they lost Derel Walker. They gained TJ Jones, they lost Armanti Edwards. They gained Drake Nevis, they lost Cleyon Laing. They gained Tommie Campbell, they lost Jonathon Mincy. They gained Alex Bazzie, they lost Freddie Bishop. They gained Phil Blake, they lost Ryan Bomben. They gained Dariusz Bladek, they lost Sean McEwen. It's great that they made a big splash but this is literally what happened to Edmonton last year and it didn't net them anything. They've shuffled around a lot of who they spend their dollars on, but I fail to see how they have a better roster today than it was before. That being said - I do think they have some strong areas on their roster, but in addition to all the losses I already mentioned, they still have to find a way to resign Frank Beltre, Davon Coleman, Tobi Antigha, Micah Awe, Jermaine Gabriel and Rodney Smith (or equal replacements)
-
That is potentially fair, as long as TJ Jones turns out to be a valuable player - which I'll wait and see about.
-
Toronto is this year’s Edmonton, everyone is gonna suck them off because they signed any and everyone, but they downgraded at OL and receiver despite spending huge coin there.
-
Good fit for him there.
-
That's not the stance I was taking on it though. Had a look at it and it seems like they clarified what I had found inconsistent before - the old CBA never used to say you had to start any Canadians, it just used to say you couldn't start more than 16 Americans (non QB) and the balance left you with 7 Canadian starters. So yeah, I guess Globals can't take an NI spot (which, IMO, is dumb)

He is starter quality, I'd say. Just seems injury prone AF.

Did it ever get clarified when I brought it up before? I should check the wording of the rules when I get home

Wasn’t a huge fan of Johnson until we just signed him and now it’s easy to see how he was the most underrated DB in the league last year to be honest

2019-20 Grey Cup Champs Off-season discussion.
Mike replied to Wanna-B-Fanboy's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Sippisteppi Pupatango is for sure going to be the demise of Bob Irving’s career if he makes the team. That name is enough to make anyone’s head spin. -
It will never cease to amaze me how pathetic certain posters at that site are. Mostly RDavidson.

If we’re going after a receiver ... Posey, Daniels, Rhymes, Edwards in that order If we’re going after a DB ... Evans, Levels then I don’t really know or care

This is going to sound rude, but I wouldn’t hate this if for nothing else than to stop having his wife share her “hot takes” on social media. plus I’m big on McCallister

How the heck do you embed tweets on a phone

I can confirm the @JDunk12 report about Willie Jefferson returning to the #Bombers. Winnipeg has inked Jefferson to a two-year deal, keeping him in Blue and Gold through the 2021 season. Bombers came in around $265,000 per season. #wfp Via Jeff Hamilton
