  1. Posey and Levels to the Cats is a good day 2 for them.
  2. I’ve tried to remove his existence from my memory.
  3. I wanna say Montreal. I read yesterday he went somewhere
  4. Think CFL Headlines just copies and pastes the actual headline from articles ... but CFL_News is actually Rider_Stronson.
  5. It’s a weird cult mentality. So many people want to be in the know with alleged “insider” Rider_Stronson that they just start to emulate his personality in hopes that they’ll be noticed and allowed to sit at the cool kids table. RDavidson is one of the worst, he loves to play some kind of pseudo-insider role as if he knows anything about anything, when in reality he just likes to shove his nose as far up BSD and R_S’ asses as possible. I’ve posted on message boards online for various hobbies and interests for over 15 years and the only time I’ve ever encountered somebody less stable than the crew over there was when I had to deal with Nate.
  6. I honestly feel like the mental gymnastics those posters go through are just on a whole other level. Literally incapable of processing a thought other than “Riders amazing, Bombers bad” and it’s just so dumbfounding. I read comments about how we tied so much money up in Jefferson/Collaros ... as if that’s a bad thing. Should we not sign our best players? It’s like sometimes they forget you can pay players six figures without it being a crippling cap move. The average active roster salary is six figures for crying out loud. I feel bad for the few that CAN generate an intelligent thought who are stuck there in that cesspool. Like give me a break, I know fans are all homers to some degree but most of the people here are at least capable of appreciating a good move even for the Riders (Shaq Evans, as an example) but Jesus are they dense over there.
  7. I already saw a “if he sucks we just cut him so it’s a win win” as if that is how things work. “just sign everyone, if they suck, we’ll just cut them! It’s a cant lose!”
  8. BREAKING: #Riders sign Canadian OL Josiah St. John 3downnation.com/2020/02/12/202… #Saskatchewan #CFL #CFLFA hahahahaha I can’t wait to see them defend this.
  9. He can probably be found for cheap
  10. I mean ... they could do a proper rebuild. This just seems silly though. Unless their scouts can find an entirely brand new wealth of depth. Giving almost a million dollars away for the combination of Matt Nichols, TJ Jones and Davaris Daniels is ridiculous.
  11. Lots of deals to be had out there.
  12. They for sure have the cash. Could see it. But I mean really, they lost their interior DL presence and their OL depth. If they want to stack themselves at receiver with Evans, Walker, Moore and JWL then go ahead. It’s an exciting recipe but not a winning one.
  13. There’s no way Larry Dean got only 110. I’d cut Bighill tomorrow and sign Larry for 125
  14. I wholeheartedly agree. He's a "splash" because he's Canadian, but he'd be just as flashy of a signing as a guy like Ardarius Stewart or Travis Rudolph otherwise.
  15. The problem is, for every player they gained, they seem to have lost one. They gained Davaris Daniels, they lost SJ Green. They gained Juwan Brescacin, they lost Derel Walker. They gained TJ Jones, they lost Armanti Edwards. They gained Drake Nevis, they lost Cleyon Laing. They gained Tommie Campbell, they lost Jonathon Mincy. They gained Alex Bazzie, they lost Freddie Bishop. They gained Phil Blake, they lost Ryan Bomben. They gained Dariusz Bladek, they lost Sean McEwen. It's great that they made a big splash but this is literally what happened to Edmonton last year and it didn't net them anything. They've shuffled around a lot of who they spend their dollars on, but I fail to see how they have a better roster today than it was before. That being said - I do think they have some strong areas on their roster, but in addition to all the losses I already mentioned, they still have to find a way to resign Frank Beltre, Davon Coleman, Tobi Antigha, Micah Awe, Jermaine Gabriel and Rodney Smith (or equal replacements)
  16. That is potentially fair, as long as TJ Jones turns out to be a valuable player - which I'll wait and see about.
  17. Toronto is this year’s Edmonton, everyone is gonna suck them off because they signed any and everyone, but they downgraded at OL and receiver despite spending huge coin there.
  18. Good fit for him there.
  19. That's not the stance I was taking on it though. Had a look at it and it seems like they clarified what I had found inconsistent before - the old CBA never used to say you had to start any Canadians, it just used to say you couldn't start more than 16 Americans (non QB) and the balance left you with 7 Canadian starters. So yeah, I guess Globals can't take an NI spot (which, IMO, is dumb)
  20. He is starter quality, I'd say. Just seems injury prone AF.
  21. Did it ever get clarified when I brought it up before? I should check the wording of the rules when I get home
  22. I still swear we can play Hansen as a Canadian
  23. Wasn’t a huge fan of Johnson until we just signed him and now it’s easy to see how he was the most underrated DB in the league last year to be honest
  24. Sippisteppi Pupatango is for sure going to be the demise of Bob Irving’s career if he makes the team. That name is enough to make anyone’s head spin.
