  1. Our half time is not long, so if you want people to perform in the center of the field, you really can't have much, if any stage there. So that means that the stage has to go at one end of the stadium or the other, I'm at a loss as to where else one could put it. Don't see too much conspiracy here. Haven't they put the stage for the half time show for pretty much every other Grey Cup in the past two decades on the field? I'm pretty sure other Grey Cups have even managed to have the stage in the middle of the field. Suddenly now, in 2015 the half time is not long enough to do it? You really can't compare every other stadium to IGF in this regard. As pretty much already stated, there isn't a lot of space around the sidelines, and in the loading dock area to construct anything that wouldn't be in too many pieces and that could easily be put together in the middle of the field at the half within a matter of minutes. It's a stadium flaw, but an inevitable one considering the footprint the stadium was built on. The option to put the stage in the north end above the Rum Hut was heavily debated and deemed the most appropriate so that everyone had a view of the show. The setup in Regina as seen above gives poor views to some of the fans on the other side, which we really wanted to avoid, so this was the decision that was made to hopefully appease most fans.
  2. Classic.
  3. Couldn't even if we wanted to. That's where the stage for the half-time show will be.
  4. You just killed it for the kids.
  5. .@REDBLACKS what do you guys think? pic.twitter.com/K0aUPlXjzT — Blue Bombers (@Wpg_BlueBombers) October 13, 2015
  6. Sorry can't post as an image. Moving Capers to RT, Goosen starting at LG and Neufeld the 6th OL.
  7. Pretty much confirmed guys, expect an announcement next week. Prepare to be underwhelmed.
  8. Let's just say the halftime show will be following the trend of the 2015 Blue Bomber season.
  9. Payroll is lower this season than the two before, right at MLB average. Nice of MLB to schedule the Jays ALDS home games during weekday afternoons so nobody can watch. What is this about it being scheduled in the afternoon? They haven't even determined the time. This was announced yesterday: For Game #1 of ALDS (Thursday), we will play at 4:07pm if #Yankees win or 3:37pm if #Astros win the Wild Card Game. — Toronto Blue Jays (@BlueJays) October 5, 2015
  10. Released??????? Looks like it.
  11. The seventh round pick of the 2017 draft begs to differ.
  12. Should we changing this thread title to "Extend O'Shea"?
  13. if the cfl is trying to attract young, probably non football fans strictly thru a half time show, hedley would absolutely be a band they want. Current, young, hit making radio friendly canadian pop act. But since they just played imma say they get the weekend His is actually playing the MTS Centre on the Friday of Grey Cup weekend.
  14. It's all on the league. They had someone big lined up, but it fell through.
  15. Funny how when I first heard this news, I knew you'd be one of the happiest to hear it.
  16. That's kind of an odd way of doing it... when I heard the three names I just assumed it was Burris (offensive), Westerman (defensive), and Rainey (ST)... Nice to see Westerman is finally getting some recognition around the league... I'm pretty sure that it's planned that way to chose one from each facet of the game. So Westerman would be the defensive player of the month.
  17. 100% not true.
  18. Not sure how to embed the video here, but there is a close up on Derek Taylor's Twitter feed. You can watch it here: https://twitter.com/DTonSC/status/647614676319268864 You can compare the face to Rick Berezowski: http://cflofficials.ca/official_bio.asp?member_id=5 It was said earlier it could have been Justin McInnes or Jocelyn Paul. McInnes: http://cflofficials.ca/official_bio.asp?member_id=84 Paul: http://cflofficials.ca/official_bio.asp?member_id=33 Make your determinations as you wish.
  19. But Adams is allowed the yard from the line of scrimmage. He CAN move. Unless you're insinuating the rule should be changed? No I'm insinuating that he moved off the LOS. He's more than a yard away from the line judge when the ball comes up and the LJ should be on the LOS to get the right angle. He moved off with the 1/2 step he took back, but with the LOS being the 37 1/2 yard line, his right foot was on on the 38 when the ball was snapped. He was only about 1/2 yard off the LOS (which is allowed) regardless of where the side judge was standing. I'm going from the loop I saw on twitter after the game showing the LJ pointing while Adams was moving then Adams settling down and taking a half step back. CFL and TSN game logs say 37 yard line. Of course that could be 37 1/2. I can't find the loop anymore, do you have a link? https://twitter.com/DTonSC/status/647854707764031488

  21. BC plays at home to the Riders on Saturday. Might need to keep the theme going this week.

  23. What do you mean? I'm referring to the Bombers press release that put a positive spin on 25K GC tickets sold. But what do you mean by lack of response to the ticket sales update?
  24. There indeed will be the traditional commemorative souvenir tickets that will be distributed near the end of October.
