I wouldn't be so quick to judge on Montreal's scheme on that call. They pushed Winnipeg into reacting to the blitz on each play and decided it was time pull back on third down and make Willy beat them with a perfect throw. It just worked out that JFG got the better jump on the defender sneaking behind coverage, and Willy threw it right where it needed to be. The scheme was called correctly, it was just poorly executed.

The "throwing of the flag" motion is what I believe is not allowed and is now considered Objectionable Conduct.

I have seen him plenty of times draw in coverage and allow for other guys to get in more space. Our receiving core seems to be one of the most well-rounded groups in the league, where our receivers are working as a committee to move the ball.

Nothing wrong with what Johnson said there. He kept it honest. Sounded humble enough to me.

Probably a 6th or 7th rounder and moving up a couple rounds if he starts any games. Is this normal with QB prospects though? Expectations for any type of condition I would think should be reasonable.

Incidental head contact is still head contact. Plenty of options for how Willis could have taken down Collaros on that play. Football is partly about making the right decisions. He made the decision to aim above the chest the way he did. To me, if Willis runs at Collaros the same way but secures him using his hands in some way, maybe the league doesn't fine him.

The media is the media. These guys can choose to brush up on their education in the sports they cover if they choose to, if they think it will make them better at their job. The first step for them though, is admitting there is a problem, which they won't do on their own because to them, they are all awesome.

A young quarterback will hold onto the ball at times .. what is more impressive is that he doesn't feel the need to force things .. he's being patient and going through his reads .. eyes downfield .. outside the one INT last night .. Willy has been great protecting the ball and has given the Bombers a chance to win in each game this year .. all you can ask for out of a guy with a handful of pro starts. I really noticed this on the reverse play they did in the second quarter. I liked how he threw the sure 15-yard bullet on the numbers to Denmark rather than forcing it to the deep route.
