  1. Ouch that's brutal Mark, and yes this kind of crap can ruin anyone's summer. If you Google the name of the company, you'll find other people with the similar things that have happened with them. Seems to me you did everything I would have done. Contacting the BBB was a good idea.
  2. None of what I am saying has anything to do with physical speed. It’s about instinct. There have been a lot of mobile quarterbacks in the past that are not terribly fast, but just know when to run. We can both agree that his mental ability now is more short-sighted than it was before, and his awareness on the field has taken a slide. And what I eluded to initially was that the elements of his play that were successful in 2011, which mostly has to do with his instinct, has been lost in the last 1+ seasons. Pierce still has the physical abilities to run with the ball to some degree. He has two legs and is relatively athletic.
  3. Calgary's playing Huntley this game. Curious to see if they can put the same kind of 4 man pressure against the Montreal o-line as we did.
  4. I'll concede there's probably very few specifically tailored run plays for in our new offense. But it's not about not being "allowed" to run. He has to make the right decisions about when to run. That's what is lacking.
  5. Durie certainly looked pretty woozy after getting his jaw rocked like that.
  6. A quick release is not something you build an offense around anyways. It's just his technique, which is unlike any other QB out there. That's my point. My only point.
  7. Let's see if Brown can repeat his three interception performance against us. Wojt played tackle in college, but has sparsely played the position since then.
  8. Part of the reason why BC only has a paltry one sack this season through two games. This move has yet to pay off for BC. Also partly because J. Williams has been under performing so far.
  9. This is the one feature of Glenn's style of play that even after 4+ years, many still talk about. Hasn't been replicated by anyone else I have seen so far.
  10. The play your referring to, where Pierce ran 48 yards and beat multiple defenders, you’re not going to see that very often. There was nothing routine about that play. If that’s what you come to expect of Buck now in his career, no wonder you’re disappointed.
  11. You got to go with the Riders on this one. I just want to see Durant get hammered in the process.
  12. It will be interesting to see if they throw Lamar in there on passing downs and how he'll do.
  13. Oh, there is so much more fun that you could have had with that...
  14. The other winners this week were Hugh Charles, Andrew Harris and Jock Sanders.
  15. It's possible. but IMO, expansion draft or not, Pencer would still be where he is regardless.
  16. I doubt it. He's not even our 6 OL so that he could be given a game or two to see how he fairs. If he was ready to be a starting, we'd have seen him on the field already. It has nothing to do with him being better than Boatman or not seeing as he could be put in at G at least for the time being.
  17. Fair enough. But to go back to your original statement, Pencer is not playing right now because his not ready to be on the roster yet, not to keep him from being plucked by Ottawa. If he was ready to play, he would be playing.
  18. There are a handful of other young o-line prospects that I would consider being "on the radar" before Pencer. I doubt he is on anyone's short list as of right now in his career.
  19. Just watched these two post game speeches from last night. Not going to say anything, just hopefully some people will watch and observe the similarities and/or differences. 20. The addition of Whitaker to the lineup is a bit concerning for me, but hopefully our OLBs can try and keep up with him with his quick feet. Hopefully we can sustain more drives and maintain a better time of possession. Minimize those turnovers and get Simpson more involved and we may have a shot.
  21. Both Archibald and Olafioye are both former MOL, but even they didn't play up to their calibre last week. Very average.
  22. BC's o-line was quite horrible against Calgary. Based on that one week, and one week alone, I would put them above Edmonton as the worst, but not by much.
  23. Looks like Doug Pierce has been added to the 46 this week. Wonder who of him and Anderson is on the 42. http://cfl.uploads.mrx.ca/wpg/pdf/depth/2013/DEPTH074420.pdf
  24. As far as I am concerned, Hamilton is just as exposed as they were last season. Having home field this season won't be much of an advantage for them either.
