  1. Ok, that is true. I know that when Peter Bjornson represented this riding, he always fought for it tooth and nail.
  2. I am not convinced that things would not have evolved more in 2021. Don't get me wrong, I think Buck has done a great job, but I think we all know the primary reason for the transformation on O.
  3. The NDP? How so? The last NDP government was a boon for infrastructure in Winnipeg.
  4. The offense became more like that as soon as ZC arrived, in 2019. MN was no longer able to consistently hit receivers in stride on the longer passes.
  5. Definitely political. Look how quick they are to act when it's in the city.
  6. He broke the swiss cheese rules. Just watch - he'll play.
  7. 1 year ago, Dec. 3, 2020 368 new cases, 12 deaths
  8. They'll give him a couple of rapid tests, and he'll be playing on Sunday. The NHL does the same thing.
  9. The D was a well oiled machine for that entire run - and they still are.
  10. According to Brittany Greenslade, the last ticket handed out to a business in the Southern region, was on Oct. 4.
  11. 6 of one, half a dozen of the other.
  12. It's not quite that simple. Vaccinated people who visit places where there is a heavy viral load, are still going to pick up the virus and get sick. Those places in all parts of the province, including Winnipeg. And, plenty of people from the North and the South visit Winnipeg Some people will never get vaxxed. Covid will eventually find its way into those pockets, and literally wreak havoc.
  13. I'd be hesitant about a coordinator where the HC is still making most of the calls.
  14. BLM might recover the way Calvillo did, if they stop trotting him out when he shouldn't even be dressed.
  15. No kidding - since when does Parades miss 3 field goals?
  16. And the real masterminds behind all the crap - are raking it in and laughing their butts off. It's 99% click bait.
  17. The same plays always work...just like Novacaine.
  18. I'd say Toronto.
  19. It seems to come to a point where the image of being a professional organization can no longer be projected - regardless of how competent an individual may be otherwise. And this type of 'shut down reaction' will often reinforce the unfounded beliefs of that individual - 'they are coming for me now, just as predicted.' One day they'll see that there's no rabbits in the hole and no light at the end of the end of the tunnel - by then the damage will be done.
  20. I think so too, but I don't think they have the pass pro to compete with our D. If Faj tries to run, the human missle Bighill could have something to say about it.
  21. ^^ These people exist in all walks of life, and in all cultures. When you have medical professionals and educators who will lose their job rather than get jabbed or take rapid tests, it's pretty damn hard to convince a hesitant lay person to get vaccinated. They see it when they or someone else gets really sick, when it's usually too late.
  22. They played outside.
  23. All the media coverage says he was detained and then released the next day.
  24. True. I meant that she returned safely to her seat, each time.
  25. Banjo Bowl - not sure which year - my weird experiences - in several sentences: Guy sitting next to me in end zone kept saying over and over - 'the running back needs to push forward more, he could gain an extra yard each time.' Guy right behind me kept saying - 'they don't need a new stadium.' Lady sitting on the other side of me, wearing heeled boots (lol), kept going for beer. It was rather impressive, how she kept making it back up the stairs. Last play - the Bombers needed field goal range to kick for the win: Perfect view of this play from the end zone - Kevin Glenn locked in on Milt Stegall all the way down the field. He threw into the end zone, right in to the arms of whoever the Riders' safety was.
