Absolutely this. If you look at it on a league wide basis, the most valuable Canadians are on the DL and OL interior. The teams that don't take care of those positions - suffer for it immensely. Those guys are the heart of the Bombers and Coach O'Shea knows that better than anyone. You don't have to look much further than Jake Thomas getting the Grey Cup first.

Hamilton is overrated in the trenches. As the season moves on - teams are starting to clue in to that...
-
Hamilton 'should have' more wins. A good team would have put that game away yesterday.

Government won't stop large corporations, and they certainly won't stop themselves. The only think that will slow them down is consumers using less of their products. Take the whole beanie baby craze as just one example of rampant consumerism - absolutely ridiculous.

I thought it missed and so did the TSN guys in the booth. But The official should have a good view of any field goal attempt.

MBT took plenty of hits today and the Argos had almost no running attack. Our front 7 would have feasted...frequently.

That didn't look like a TD.

No facts or statistics? What is the 80.3% recycling recovery rate? A random number? Why is it always American data that you come up with? Is that somehow more factual? I would advise to take a look at recycling here in Manitoba. Yes, on to the next topic.

Cardboard is definitely recycled. It is a floating commodity, worth about $140 a ton right now. Many businesses accumulate and sell their cardboard packaging. Glass is often ground up and mixed with gravel, which is then used for roads or concrete. There's no reason to not recycle metal - scrap yards pay $$ for it every day. I am not sure why plastic is hard to recycle. Plastic bags, yes. But containers can simply be ground up, packed in bulk bags and sold to manufacturers. The recycling company does not need to melt the plastic pellets - the manufacturer does that when they use it. Even plastic that is new, is bought as pellets. It would be interesting to see some local recycling stats, from the Brady landfill, for example.

My father in law runs a plastic shop. He buys recycled plastic all the time. I recently saw plastic in his shop that had previously been pill bottles. You figure they run recyclables through the sorting machine, bundle them up and then bury them? Not all recyclables get recycled, but plenty do.

It is beyond stupid to state that our own footprints don"t make a dent. Corporations do not exist in vacuum.
-
^^ where's the logic? Big corporations profit because we buy from them. And no, not just by travelling.

I never thought we'd see a D better than Ty Jones, Greg Battle & co., but the 2019 - 2021 group definitely is. Not just the talent but the flat out effort and love of the game.

The only Taman draft pick trade that made any sense - was the one for Alex Gauthier. The long term effect of his approach is indefensible. That being said, I think if we can get Ward, it should be done, as a one time exception.

The Stamps D will win them a few more games. Not to mention returns and place kicking. I think we like to forget that they nearly beat us.
-
BLM made bad decisions and is clearly not very healthy. But you don't pass for almost 300 yards by accident. Their OL / running attack have been good and are getting better.
-
I wouldn't write the Stamps off just yet. Riders are turning out to be what some here said they were.

Stamps running game could make some noise in the playoffs. Carey had 178 yards from scrimmage.

Toronto is similar in the trenches, but with less talent at other positions. They have very strangely had the Bombers' number - the last couple seasons.
