  1. That’s a sensible ruling. It’s exactly as the Crown said - ruling in favour of Springs Church would lead to others finding ways around the rules.
  2. If there are no rules requiring people to isolate after out of province travel, then most people will not isolate, and more people will choose to travel out of province. Given that Alberta had high case counts back in summer, this was a serious mistake.
  3. If we’re talking 93 - 94, Garcia did not have significant playing time.
  4. Just off the top of my head, there are better QBs than Damon Allen and Danny McManus currently playing Flutie is about the only he could make a case about. Collaros and Mitchell are as good or better than Dunigan, Dickenson and Garcia weren't on the scene yet. (Garcia played a couple of games at the end of 1994)
  5. People can still find plenty of online 'sources' who convince them that Trump will remain President. Believe it or not, I was offered a $20 bet today, that Trump would remain in office What the heck, I can always use a little more beer money.
  6. I started a new topic titled 'religious issues.'
  7. With a 40% test positivity rate. some level of herd immunity may have been achieved. There will be numerous asymptomatic individuals who did not get tested.
  8. Man, I don’t know. I’m aware of a scenario where two people were exposed at the same event. They both got tested, one of them was negative initially, but later tested positive, once he had symptoms. This was all within 7 days of exposure. Further, CDC indicates a range of 2 - 14 days, with a median of 5 - 6 days. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/symptoms-testing/symptoms.html
  9. Any people that I'm aware of who got ill and/or seriously ill from Covid 19, were sick within a week of their exposure. Asymptomatic people will generally test negative.
  10. Too many assumptions. There are pictures in the news of cars parked spaced apart from each other.
  11. If everyone stays in their car, how is it not a virtual service?
  12. That's the heart of the problem, right there. Fortunately, most churches are not like this.
  13. Read the freep article.
  14. Yes, just saw this on a Melissa Martin Facebook post. Total BS, the hotel owners deserve an apology.
  15. It's about time!
  16. Ahhh Dr. Bohemier - the quackiest chiropractor you'll ever meet - he convinced a fairly large following to not vaccinate their kids. I see he's still active after retirement...
  17. A slight adjustment to the school calendar today - the 3 PD days that had been removed were added again - two before Christmas & one after Christmas. So, at least there'll be less traffic in schools on those days.
  18. I was more than a little surprised that they didn't mention schools. March 23 was the day we shut down in Spring, with 24 cases. But remote learning is such a gong show - and a hybrid model is even worse. They are being informed about this every day by MTS. Also, many parents who chose homeschooling and remote learning are seriously regretting their decision. My prediction: unless the situation gets even worse, they will have as 'tough it out' until December, then make it an extended Christmas Break.
  19. Most schools in Europe have stayed open, even when countries have locked down, with very little evidence of spread.
  20. And that's without all the mail in ballots that got set aside.
  21. It’s not a surprise at all - look at who he’s running against. The Dems ignore large swathes of America. The rust belt, the farmers, & the blue collar workers.
  22. I guess it’s the best away to ‘make it look like’ something is being done.
  23. Crap. Hope that doesn’t happen. Schools are not the problem.
  24. Which pretty sad, when you stop to think about it. Except for Belgium, which is extending the fall break from one week to two weeks, I have not heard of any countries closing schools as part of their lockdown.
