  1. The Westman outbreak had more easily identifiable clusters. I don't expect Winnipeg to be under control any time soon - just my 0.02. Most definitely. Their actions are now affecting the entire city and surrounding area. On a personal level, this is getting exhausting. Some people don't care at all, while others care too much - it's draining. At work, in life and on social media. I think I'll just go whack some ash at my woodpile.
  2. The mayor - eats waffles with fried chicken (extra skin).
  3. No need - he left his suspenders back in Alberta.
  4. People can be cleared by public health, but their body still feels the effects of the virus. This can range from mild to severe. Even someone who is still hospital, might no longer be contagious.
  5. Yes, hopefully we can get the remaining red designations moved to yellow, and have all schools fully open.
  6. Yes, that was the case for me, my test came back negative. It’s not just asymptomatic but also not having travelled and not having contact with a known case.
  7. No, they have spent the past month explaining why they 'weren't' doing that.
  8. Absolutely there were clusters on Hutterite colonies, but MB. is still getting 15 - 30 cases daily, the low of 9 didn't last long. Look, they were asking Hutterite communities, even those who have no more cases and even some who never even had any - to start the year with remote learning - a one size fits all approach. It took some pretty serious work to stop that from happening. It would have been the equivalent of starting all the schools in Brandon with remote learning.
  9. Not to mention, we have an MB. government that is more than happy to find a scapegoat. https://www.brandonsun.com/local/proposed-teacher-restrictions-worry-hutterite-colonies-572280252.html
  10. Agreed. Whenever I read an article, I’ve already seen the info here.
  11. He's right though - boneless wings are made from breast meat.
  12. We are beyond 666...beyond the beast...😎🤩😜
  13. Even though we have been hearing since March that those with underlying conditions will be the most vulnerable if they get Covid 19. This is new information! They've been hiding it!
  14. Which Bomber gave Fajardo the helmet tap after he hit that upright?
  15. Not true. Most of us followed all the public health orders, until things opened up on June 21. There are 126 communities, we are not all the same. So yes, you could find some where what you say is true.
  16. He has been leaning that way ever since the 2015 election. The Conservative stance on immigration and refugees at the time, seemed to shake his dyed in the wool Conservative foundations.
  17. It only takes one person. The vast majority of the Hutterite cases can be traced back to two people. You can take all the precautions you want, but all it takes is one person deciding to ignore them once or twice, especially attending large gatherings or not staying home when sick, and there you have it. And I'm sure this happens every year with cold and flu, but now it is being documented. I just hope we are learning the lessons - they are not just applicable to Covid 19.
  18. I’m sure he’s ‘woke’ now.
  19. Manitoba has gone from under 10 cases to over 400, since opening up. #perspective
  20. Contact tracing is thorough. Because of it, they have learned that there is not as much concern about asymptomatic people spreading the virus. Apparently most people spread the virus when they have symptoms.
  21. Wow - it seems Winnipeg is joining the Covid party again. But these high numbers are not necessarily bad news - it could be just more people getting tested.
  22. Sorry, it was sarcasm.
  23. Man, those are inflated numbers. Dude, I know a guy who choked on his socks, and they reported it as a Covid death. /sarcasm
  24. I had my eye on a Texas Christian jersey - never heard of the school he played for...
  25. I have heard exactly this from my family doctor. The truth is, we have way more cases now than we had in spring, yet schools are going to reopen. It looks like they decided to proceed with herd immunity - for better or worse...
