  1. 35 is not that old for a smart and effective OL.
  2. Ok, then. The Ti-Cats had a great season, but that does not make them any less inept in the Grey Cup game.
  3. Relatable.
  4. After watching them block for Harris in the playoffs, I’m almost inclined to agree with you.
  5. Man - he was playing for the shoo-in GC champs.
  6. Funniest thing on those wired episodes: "he disrespected me on the internet...man...he disrespected me on the internet."
  7. Edit: I meant to write ‘Collaros had 170 yards passing in the Grey Cup.’ I also wonder how much of the dependence on Harris is by design? He was the Grey Cup MOP & MOC, after all.
  8. I'm sitting on the fence when it comes to Matt Nichols, but when it comes to Blue Bomber Quarterbacks this year, passing yards are not the best indicator. I mean, we only had 170 yards passing in the Grey Cup, while laying absolute beating on the Hamilton Tiger Cats. Bottom line, whoever the QB is, they need to have more success throwing the ball the 20 - 50 yards downfield, because then Bryant & Co. can just rip that LOS wide open.
  9. I love this league, but things like that make even the diehards cynical.
  10. To tell you the truth, any liver other than chicken goes into our composter.
  11. It’s excellent, especially chicken liver. We grow our own chickens, but even then, liver is only available a few times each year.
  12. I see your pate and raise you home - grown, breaded liver with onions & fries.
  13. If you wanted a movie reference, I'm not your guy. I very rarely watch movies - I prefer certain shows where there is actual character development. After the CFL is done, my viewing time generally becomes reading time.
  14. We can keep it safe in the flats, with a 15 yard cushion.
  15. I don't know their family situation, I just stated the facts I'm familiar with. This is a volatile sport where careers can end at any time. I dare say plenty of people would not put $100 K at risk for the sake of a CFL contract. Coaches are different, because they don't have the risk of a career ending injury. As for players signing (or not signing) in Winnipeg - every situation is unique and family could be a consideration.
  16. Sure, Winnipeg One will hire her to sub in the inner city - all depends how you define 'had to'
  17. Which is exactly why she will be reluctant to move. Seniority isn't even protected when you switch divisions, never mind switching provinces. If they move, she starts at 0 on the seniority list. That is huge these days, with all the government cuts, if you're at the bottom you could be one of the people getting axed, you will have no more protection than a first year University graduate, the only caveat being if you teach a specialty. And yes, I do know what I'm talking about.
  18. That's what I find problematic about the comparison - ZC had far less time in the QB room before he was starting games.
  19. I have to disagree somewhat, mainly because the passing game sucked for all the teams in those three playoff games. Bomber DBs definitely dropped picks from both BLM and CoFaj. I don't think they'll sign him and I don't think they necessarily need to, but I thought for a guy who was new to our system, he really didn't serve up all that many dangerous throws.
  20. I’ve heard the sod hut at the MB. Museum needs an occupant.
  21. It wins games but it would not have won playoff games. It allows teams hang around and always have a chance to mount a comeback. Unless you have a performance where the D will not be denied, such as in the Grey Cup.
  22. Do or Die...the legend continues... #bombayed
  23. Wade be runnin’ a profeshonal organizashun.
  24. Neither of those. We were watching ZC warm up and you said: “there’s your starting Quarterback.” Got any more predictions for us?
