This election is beginning to look like 2011. Except for Quebec voting Bloc again...
-
We don’t care.

Stop trolling. No one said he was capable of taking us to the Grey Cup. I normally deal with stuff in PM, but I’m sick and tired of it.
-
Chill out folks.
-
Agreed. I voted Conservative in the advanced polls yesterday, for that exact reason - coupled with the fact that the Conservatives have my riding locked up and the other parties aren't even trying.

Good job taking the bait guys, very nicely done. Episode 2: certain Rider fans show up on the defensive Episode 3: certain Bomber fans start asking where the mods are Lather, rinse, repeat. -

You joined MBB just to make this post - we can scarcely contain our excitement. -
Also, if he doesn’t push the ball downfield, teams will stack the box and there goes the running game. But I do think they should be using Harris more in the red zone, especially with the OL playing like they were yesterday.
-
I hope that continues. I don't think other teams schemed to shut down the ground game as much as the Bombers just stopped using it.

1. Harris 2. Streveler 3. Sayles HH Glenn Young

If he calls that hitch to Lucky Whitehead - I might be done watching games for this year.

IMO, it's about bloody time. It has been really hard to get new fans interested in the CFL this year. -
TO/OTT And Cal/Sask: Its Friday Night Football Discussion

That's the cumulative effect of officials looking right at serious infractions but not making calls. Eg. the Adams, Bighill incident - just no excuse for not throwing a flag for that infraction, and it is just one example among many. I know it's a tough job, but I cannot understand how you can be looking right at something like that and not throw the flag. -
I would say he's capable of centering one of the best checking lines in the league.

My apologies for issuing an incomplete statement: Hamilton had a combined total of 227 yards of offense in that game. To clarify the stat even further, that is total offense, not net offense. The Bombers are first in rushing, last in passing, 6th in net offense (346 yards / game), tied for second in offensive TDs, second in total points scored, and 4th in offensive points scored. If they were relying heavily on throwing the ball, most of the above stats would be much lower. Which makes the most recent loss to Hamilton even more of a mystery.
-
Being a sucker for punishment, I looked at those stats again. We lost to a team that passed for 150 yards. It really has been a woulda, coulda, shoulda - kind of season.

Lose the juice box - it’s Friday night.

Just giving 17to85 a hard time. 😄

Very informative - I didn't even know he owned a donkey.

Wait...I figured it out. They can't dress him right away because they weren't planning to make a move for him in the first place.

Hopefully we beat the crap out of Montreal and the Lapo trolls go back under their bridges.
-
I wasn't even aware of the exact timeline, thanks for that.

Fair points - the other teams don't even have a weekly coach's show. I have listened to our show once this year - it was a waste of time. The Collaros story could have been handled better - it doesn't look good, punkt.
-
Personally, I don't care one way or the other. But... When someone had a scoop about something that was obviously legit, but the Head Coach flatly denies it and presents it as an impossibility, and basically says the media is out to lunch... ...then a few days later it turns out to be true. All he had to say was...yes...we have made some inquiries. It simply does not look good, from an organization that has usually had a good public image.

See, that's just it; they were TRYING to bring in a veteran - but making it sound like they weren't. Unless Pinball has a magic wand that suddenly made a trade appear after he was hired (hmmmm I think I'll call Winnipeg now).
