  1. Agreed about the beef industry - there are always exceptions. But you are generalizing too much about hogs and poultry - there are definitely antibiotic free hog and poultry operations in large, enclosed facilities. This can be achieved through cleanliness and overall herd / flock immunity. Maple Leaf pays premiums for antibiotic free pork.
  2. 1. Scheer: 6 billion in tax cuts - recycle some Harper pledges 2. Trudeau: focus primarily on avoiding the media 3. Singh: need more Quebec seats 4. May: promise the Moon and throw in Venus for good measure. The excitement - is mind numbing.
  3. Oh, I could care less about that meatless burger or whatever it is. It’s their false advertising about their products. Eg. Most chickens are fed a plant based diet and for both hogs and chickens, hormones are not used. A & W makes it sound like this is unique to their products.
  4. As a farmer, I could never eat at A & W again anyway. My stance is now most definitely permanent.
  5. You are a football magician - show us your ways...
  6. Stamps are like the Bombers of the previous couple seasons - relying on the kicker’s leg.
  7. No idea what my personal best is on here - but I'm working towards it... 😁
  8. Yeah, even certified drillers with significant seniority are laid off.
  9. We’ve unearthed the root of the problem...
  10. The things is - BC has had a QB all year...
  11. That's doubtful - the NDP has many long serving MPs who are solidly entrenched in their local ridings. Who can even name a Green candidate (without Google) outside of Elizabeth May?
  12. What’s noticeable about BLM is - he hardly ever ad libs or holds the ball too long. If his reads aren’t open he chucks it away. His OL usually knows how long they have to hold their blocks.
  13. Oh...I’ll see myself out...
  14. Just call him Richie ‘red zone’ Hall.
  15. Our ER experience was rather self-explanatory. It was on Dec. 30 of last year, there was only one doctor on call. We were there from 10 PM to 6 AM.
  16. I found it neither funny nor interesting. 😎
  17. He makes me nervous every time the front 4 is being blocked effectively. What Calgary does against us with their pass pro is going to be very interesting.
  18. Decent predictions - those greens though...
  19. No swing in sight...
  20. I like voting on Election Day because they use the Netley Hall. It’s a refurbished former country school - one of the few still in existence. #localhistorynerd
  21. I hope you all exercised your right / responsibility to vote today.
  22. Selkirk was always an NDP stronghold. They are running a better candidate this time (incumbent retired last time) so that riding could swing in spite of the boundary changes.
  23. Tomorrow should be interesting. All signs point to a larger PC majority. 54% support, their rural seats are all entrenched, and numerous NDP seats were won by less than 500 votes in 2016 - they could easily swing.
  24. Concur - but all the woulda, coulda, shouldas...
  25. Because of completely different socio economic conditions. MB vs NS?
